Komaza Care Products
Has anyone tried Komaza Care products and if so could you please provide feedback. They seem to have it good with quality natural ingredients and fairly low prices.
I've heard alot about Afroveda, but I can't wait 2-4 weeks to receive my products, not too mention sending an email and waiting for a reply, i don't see getting one as soon as possible.
I'm getting that PJ itch, unfortunately!!!

WELL! No need to worry about a long wait for your products with Komaza, they have some of the best turnaround time out ther! I mean we're talking 2-3 days! That said, their products worked ok, just ok, for me. But I WANT to love them, and still probably could, I just need to work more with them. I love the smell especially of the Califia line...and will probably try another sample of the Califia Styling Pudding because I think I will be able to achieve good results with it.

Hi ShortNCurly...try going to the top right corner of the screen & in the search box type in: "Komaza hair care or Komaza reviews"...the ladies on this forum have spoken & given their views many a time. HTH

The only one I can vouch for that I would repurchase again is the Coconut Curl Pudding. It does define your curls and make them manageable.
I tried the Califia Pudding and Shea Butter Lotion. The Califia Pudding smelled like coffee, but didn't do anything for me. I love the smell of the Shea Butter Lotion, but I don't find it moisturizing or softening enough. It's sort of on the greasy side if you use too much.
You can always experiment with the sample sizes and they ship really fast.

The only thing I thought was ok was the coconut curl pudding.

Well, I'm not a 4, but I do have experience with the Komaza califia line-- which was actually made to elongate (unlike the coconut curl line which is supposedly curl enhancing). I found the Califia line to be incredibly moisturizing with excellent curl definition and frizz control like I haven't seen in my hair (I have very thick coarse hair whose frizz is hard to control). While doing this Califia keeps my hair soft and movable (cause the last thing you want is wig hair). I have coilier friends that require a bit more product than me to get the stretch, but I think its worth looking into at least sampling.

I reviewed both the Califia and Coconut Puddings on my blog -
http://questfortheperfectcurl.wordpr...dding-noms-it/
http://questfortheperfectcurl.wordpr...-hair-pudding/
I also tried the Coconut Curl Lotion; it's a good moisturizer, but I don't love it. I like to use it for nighttime moisture though. And the Hair Nourishment Oil is great for scalp massages, but it smells sooo bad I just couldn't bring myself to purchase it again!

I like some products from this line alot. I just love the Moku leave-in conditioner. It's amazing for MY hair. The coconut curl dried out my hair. The Califia made my hair greasy. The Moku has been the balance though. Wonderful product.

FYI. All Komaza conditioners and hair lotions have Dipalmitoylethyldimonium Chloride (A derivitive of Palm Oil) in the products and it doesn't agree with my hair and some other curlies. But you won't know that until you try samples.

Ah yes! Monday's sale. I'm not sure if I'll purchase anything until I see if the Nunu Love Handmades spilled milk is good or if to stick with the Moku leave-in. The Moku is marvelous though.
