Mozeke: New Products!

Yes...I'm about to order...and the Moisturing Hair Mask. I LOVE the Carrot Protein Mask...and everything else I have of hers.

NAW...I said I would only order from folks that ain't makin' the same stuff I already have. LOL! Anybody who doesn't put shea in everything is my...friend.

Cerendipity 05-06-2010 02:45 PM

Im only interested in the twisting cream. Not much of a hair milk person. Pomade sounds good though.. .hmm

EllyEllyOxenFree 05-06-2010 02:47 PM

The hair milk looks good...lately I've been really into leave-in conditioners.

Ninjarette 05-07-2010 07:07 AM

Oh well...shoppin' cart is broke. That's my sign. I'll let her know.

Cerendipity 05-07-2010 07:39 AM

Instead of clicking the paypal button at the bottom of the page immediately after placing stuff in my cart, I clicked the other button labeled checkout and then filled in my information, that way I was able to fulfill my order.

The other way but clicking paypal gave me an error,

I ordered the twisting cream and hair milk in sample sizes

I tried it that way, and it didn't work. I'll try it again.
*Update* I got the same error "Unable to calculate shipping rates"

I noticed last week she had new stuff up, I was happy to see that! I want to try the masks. I know on the site she suggests applying to dry hair, but I wonder how it will work on wet hair after a shampoo? How do you use yours?

That Cocoa Peach Pomade sounds yummy. I also love everything I have of hers, and I too am instantly attracted to products that use something other than shea all the dang time. Shea is okay but I wasn't getting wonderful results from it.

I apply her conditioning mask to damp hair, after shampooing. I read her site instructions, but my brain can't get around that. Worked fine...wonderfully, actually.

I would like to know how the twisting cream is vs the holding butter.

jeweld 05-16-2010 10:25 AM

BUMP, any update Shawnyblazes on how her new products work?

Cerendipity 05-16-2010 10:34 AM

The hair milk was nice. I used it after a cowash for a leave in. I'm about to do my friends bi weekly hair appt so I will try the twisting cream out and let you guys know.

Just looking and touching the twisting cream it absorbed quicker into my skin then the holding butter. So far I only use the holding butter on wet or damp hair because it takes awhile to work in.

I just got my order. Everything smells fab! However, it was wrong so I still don't have the whipped avocado which is the main thing I wanted to try. I did get the kokum milk and I will cowash tonight and try it. I'll update later with a review.

JahNaturalDezign 05-17-2010 01:55 PM

I just got my order too. I can't wait to try this masque tonight. It smells yummy!

Cerendipity 05-17-2010 03:27 PM

Ok so my gf gives this a thumbs up. I used just about the whole line on her head sunday afternoon.

I used the carrot protein masque, with a little AO GPB conditioner , then I rinsed it out and followed it up with the Avocado Cleansing cream to her scalp.

After rinsing the cleansing cream out , her hair was very soft and supple. I then applied the Coconut kokum H. Milk as her leave in. Its thick and you have to squeeze to get it out but it spread easily.

I cornrowed the front of her hair and twisted the ends using the babassu twisting cream . Her hair came out really well. The only other product I used was Myhoneychilds old fashioned sophia grease on her ends to give her some shine.

She is a fine haired 4a/b and the products worked great.

the only difference to me in the Whipped Avocado Cream, and Babassu Twisting Cream is, the BTC is thicker than the WAC and lighter than the Mango Cupuacu Holding Butter.

IF I repurchase any of the creams its going to be the WAC . I like both the Holding butter and the Twisting cream but the only difference is the lightness and I can only use the Holding butter on wet/damp hair.

Im not a hair milk person so I wont be repurchasing but I like to try new things

RamaKama 05-21-2010 11:20 AM

ok..So I still haven't tried everything a million times but so far i like what i have tried.

the kokum milk smells very sweet. the texture is kinda frothy, creamy. I used as a leave in and it provided light moisture (for me-i was super dry). I can see it being a good cowasher...similar to honeyhemp but just a bit thicker.
