Natural hair+cones+organic condish=moisture retention

For me, I've still been having issues with dryness but then I decided to use the HEHH and my hair was still a bit crispy, so I used some honey suckle rose and left that in and put shea butter over it. My hair is moist and spongy. If it shrinks or gets dry it's easier to fluff it out with my hands and damping it restores moisture to. Has anyone else tried something like this? Is it okay to use cones with organic products?

I have but for me silicones dry my hair out over time and then I have to use a harsh shampoo to get it out which is even more drying to my hair.

But within the first few days it aint bad.

I went no cones for a long time, but recently I bought some HEHH and it's drying me out like crazy!! I was using it as a leave in, and I noticed the dryness, so I started using it as a wash out...still dry, so I am retiring it. I am going to clarify tomorrow morning and go back to coneless conditioners.

Every head is different...some people aren't effected by cones, but I realize my hair IS! I get less definition, more frizz, and just overall dry hair
