Annoying whiteheads/ blackheads or complexion issues? Try AV Carrotseed bar.
So....
Most folks know from my siggie that I'm a poo bar girl and one of my faves is the Afroveda Carrot Seed Bar. I ran out of my regular facial cleanser a while back and in a rush I used my poo bar instead..
and my skin felt so soft, smooth and clean! I was afraid it was going to be irritating and break me out (I have sensitive skin) but I didn't have any ill effects. Anyway, to make a long story short I kept using it over the course of a month and not only has it helped even out my complexion, but I haven't had any crazy breakouts since I've been using it. I had like maybe one tiny whitehead during Aunt Flo time, but nothing like my typical almost cystic breakouts.
I haven't even needed makeup because of this, and my skin actually looks luminous. Well...
I just wanted to share. If you have it in your arsenal and have skin issues, give it a whirl!

hmm.. ill have to try it, since its coming to curlmart!
My face has really lost its mind these days, its been breaking out something evil.. i just ordered some aubrey organics facial ish to try!
of all the bars youve tried.. which one is your fav?
ive only tried chagrin valley so far & theyre keepers, esp that ayurvedic! But they dont work on my face.. which is how I ended up using em on my hair in the first place!

OMG, you are tempting me!
Semi-OT: How much does she usually charge for shipping just one item? I swear it used to display BEFORE you put in your CC info and hit submit, but I can't get it to show now. I keep putting the PUR whipped gelly in my cart and almost going through with it, but I'm so scared that she'll charge me an arm and a leg for shipping...

Carrot seed oil is great for the skin! I have a carrot seed oil facial bar but I usually use it in the winter because it's so moisturizing for me.
I've been using black soap since it got hot and that was getting all of the hot weather grime off my face.

Thanks to Rosscd I've been using the Tres Clay Facial Bar from Rinse Soap for a while and my skin has never been more radiant.it's all natural, exfolliating, detoxifying, absorbant & stimulating and contains Morrocan Red, French Green & Kaolin Clays as well as as the natural astringent oil, Cedarwood.

Amen!! I feel like I've never looked better these days since going natural and really scrutinizing what's going on/in my hair and body. It's been a fun experience for the most part.

Naturalista, THANK YOU THANK YOU. My charcoal facial bar just finished and I was thinking of how painful it would be to wait for another. I have 3 of Afroveda's shampoo bars just sitting there because I've been stuck on Bee Mine's Rhassoul Bar  Now I can use those bars on my face. I trust that I get awesome results like you Naturalista.

Afroveda, but I'm sure they make Carrot Seed Oil bars somewhere so you dont have to wait on AV to ship it to you. I think AV stuff is also sold via Goodhairmart.com

Took your advice and I'm using a sweet almond butter bar from www.100percentpure.com that I've been using on my body. I cut the bar into like 6 slices though. Definitely dries out the oil and cleans the skin well, face feels tight and dry but I combat that with a sample moisturizer from Ren skin care www.renskincare.com.
all ingredients from 100% pure are REALLY PURE.
They've got some good stuff!

Its funny I ran out of Tres Clay for about 3 days and used my Shikakai bar from the indian store and my face did great.
And yes going natural has me going natural in so many other areas. Loving it.
