Not rude, it's true. I was thinking of using it as a hot oil or prepoo with heat.

Nat, I just didn't want the side eye from stans...wherever they might be...

ok that makes more sense--hot oil tx/prepoo. And I guess I must point out that the leave-in creme is not a "cream"

LOL!! I'm almost tempted to twist with the DC. It looks like the same consistency as a butter would. Looks like the hold would be amazing.

The LIC is more of a whipped butter, but I beat it down to a creamy texture when it came and it's a good primer prior to using the DMH butter (like just a touch for me or it's too heavy). The softness I get from these products rocks though.

The owner of Zapporah Beauty has a YT channel...in this video she states that "she made the deep conditioner similar to the leave-in creme because she use to use the leave-in creme as a deep conditioner and she really liked the results"...link below

wow@this thread. I'm a little confused. What do you guys mean by "base"? and what is EW?. This thread is a little old but I think it was unprofessional and unrealistic for the owner to try to defend her products and demand no negative comments about her products

Lol! I was thinking of the deep conditioner as a "hot oil treatment" too. So..it's all good. I don't do traditional hot oil treatments...they never did anything special for my hair, even when I was relaxed. A "hot butter treatment"? I'll try that.

Yep, it has carnauba wax which is a pretty hard wax (harder than beeswax and candelilla), should hold quite well.

I received my products yesterday...

I haven't really used them, other than to test on my ends since I was in twists. I used the DMH Hair Butter on one side and the DMH Leave-In Cream on the other. The hair butter absorbed better, but the DHM leave-in cream was no slacker either. My ends stayed soft into the next day.

Everything smells the same, lol. I didn't get the Vanilla Mint Serum but the regular Moisturizer and it still smelled like vanilla mint, lol.

I haven't even removed the wrapping from around the Deep Conditioner yet.

I'll report once I've really used them.

It would be a good replacement for Afroveda's Hemp Seed Twist and Lock Butter...I think.

I actually love the smell of thin mints! I only used it so far to smooth back my ponytail last night but then I decided to baggy anyway. How do you use it? I don't really use much pomade unless I'm doing a twist/braid out. I may do one though soon b/c I have to review my brush!

I use it as an all purpose hair butter. I'm not a pomade person, either. It's a great sealer.

I need to play with it more, but more like slicking back, sealing my ends at night and protective stuff. The way it softens my hair makes me think I should try using it underneath some of my harder hold gels. It's not that heavy as a butter IMO so I could get away with it.

Oh this is a great idea! I use oils under gels that act funny and react with a lot of my leave-ins. Thanks boo!

^^ Anytime

Speaking of pomades, I used the Shea-Avocado one today and it was pretty nice. My hair absorbed it quickly.
