This is the third time I've seen mention of Ori Organics being down. I liked their deep condish and curl styler - a good cross of gel and cream in texture. I kind of liked their hair milk. Wonder what happened?

(Random, but...) Why do some women (I've noticed it's mainly those who follow the"CG" method) feel the need to say "A true curly girls knows to...*insert piece of advice here*". That ish gets mad annoying. Soooo, if a girl slathers cones in her hair and it works for her then too bad so sad, she's not a "true" curly girl? If a sista wants to use a sulfate shampoo sometimes then she's not a "true" curly girl? At first I thought they were saying that to girls who were following the CG method but doing it wrong so I let it slide, but now I realize they say it about ANYONE with curly hair. I hate going to product reviews and seeing someone review a product they haven't even USED, complaining about the ingredients and commenting that a "true curly girl" would know to stay away from that. Okay then, don't freakin use it! Ahhhh! Shut up!!! There are so many ways to take care of curly hair and I'm sure some of those who aren't being true curly girls are doing just fine. GTFO.

Ugh, it's time for a wash. But I'm going to do that tomorrow. I am about to go out and I don't have time. I hope no one notices that my hair looks gross.

not necessarily. I used to use the AOHC as my moisturizer and then sealed with oil.
I use the ohhb as a sealant, but it too can be used as a moisturizer since it has some humectants in it

I noticed that a lot of the stuff, I have started using has protein in it besides a select few. How do I balance out (or replace) the protein? because my hair is not holding moisture, always tangled and is FRIZZY!!!

What exactly is the purpose/role of silver citrate in hair products? More specifically the Donna Marie Super Buttercreme?
Help please.

According to google its a limited use preservative. Hopefully CN or Nat will chime in to verify.

Another question ladies & gents...
I have the larger size container of oyin burnt sugar pomade that i got in a swap/sell foreverrrr ago. My question is, what can i do to get rid of the godawful grittiness it has?
I only use it every once in a while becuz of that.. i have one of the smaller jars and it's not gritty at all and much harder than the newer one.

you can melt it in the microwave and cool it in the freezer really quickly. Make sure you use a heat safe container (not the oyin bsp container)
grittiness/graininess appears when a butter melts and doesn't cool quickly.

you're welcome (oh and I would use glass rather than plastic to melt the pomade, and make sure not to boil it, just use short 10-20 sec spurts until it's melted, stir and then plop in freezer)

Has anyone ever mixed different henna brands? I'm thinking of mixing jamila henna with that expensive celebration henna. The celebration gives a darker browner stain over the reddish brown jamila stain which I think will ultimately be a nice stain.

OT facial care
Organic Green Tea & Aloe Toner
Our premier toner removes impurities and toxins from the skin while
reducing visible signs of aging and tightens pores with the power of green
tea. Ideal for All Skin Types.
Ingredients: Organic Aloe Barbadensis Juice(aloe vera), Organic Lemon
Juice,Green Tea Extract
I love this toner, it makes my pores look teeny tiny, but I am wondering should it contain some sort of preservative as it is now turning brownish?

Thanks again coilynapp
There is still some grit to certain spots..i think becuz i was afraid to melt it too much. But as a whole the container is MUCH better than it was.
Becuz i am a perfectionist person..would there be harm in doing it again? And would it be better if i mixed it with a wire whisk?
