Hair stores
That's exactly how I feel.
Even though Uncle Funky's daughter is here... I don't even use her products.
She used to sell all kinds of brands but not anymore.

I saw that they had Miss Jessies and Carol's Daughter. I was like um, can you all replace those lines with stuff that is harder to attain? People can get MJ at Target now and CD is every damn where now. She said someone had asked for it (huh?), but they noticed it wasn't selling as much. I had to contain myself, because seeing all that stuff in front of your face sure gets tempting, especially without shipping fees ( though I think some of the stuff is slightly marked up) and wait time. Luckily for my pockets I only brought QB detangling ghee--which I went in for, and Bee Mine's Curl thingy.
Since Elle and a few others have been boosting Donna Marie up, I figured that I will get on that if they don't get Oyin anytime soon.

Yep I totally agree. And whoever asked for it must have never been to Target or Macy's.

I just discovered this store as well! (online at least)
And for the life of me I cannot figure out whether or not its METRO accessible! Does anyone know?
I get around via train and bus and when I saw that the store was in Silver Spring I thought, GREAT! That it should be within walking distance of the Silver Spring train stop, but from what I've looked at on Google Maps I'm thinking its farther out? :/
If anyone could let me know whether or not its walkable or what bus I could catch to get there that would be great.

YES! I was so excited when I went by there! They give free samples of select products on request (ie Kinky Curly, anyone?)

I looked this up online and I'm liking the sound of it. I don't think my hair can get enough protein.
Why am I all excited about what you purchased?!?! I was giddy and now extra excited to go.

yea, i really like that leave in. i used it all through my transition and today is the first time i used it as a natural. my hair is so soft. and i didnt seal it in with anything. i just used it alone and i have soft curls. my hair cant get enough protein either. i have to use protein 1-2 times a week or else its mush city lol. i think you will like it.
i also went back to the store to get MHC type 2 and 4 cream, MHC molasses deep conditioner, bee mine scalp moisturizer and luscious moisturizer.
i did not like the molasses at all.
