I need to try this. I have used olive oil as a hot oil treatment. I did not know it can get rid of shed hairs. Interesting!

Thats what I do. I prepoo with evoo and get rid of shed hairs via finger detangling or wide tooth comb and cowashig/washing is a breeze.
Yeah, I do use olive oil. In addition to its benefits in detangling, it prevents my hair from being a dry hard mess after the wash.

Last night a spritz my hair with water and conditioner until it was somewhat damp, and put on a mix of jojoba oil an evoo... I co-washed this morning it was super easy to detangle. I was afraid it would leave my hair all greasy, but that didnt happen... it was just perfect...

I recently used it as a hot oil treatment before I shampooed and I loved it! It reallyhelp me get rid of shed hairs and the detangling was much easier.

This will become a definite part of my routine!

I like using olive oil in the shower to get rid of shed hairs, or as a hot oil treatment the night b4 (thats basically a prepoo).

If I did that, my hair would be a nightmare. I can't just slap oil on my hair as a pre-shampoo treatment and call it a day, that is, unless I want dry, greasy, and tangled straws. Hot oil treatments are one of the worst things I could ever do to my hair, so I'll gladly do without them. Adding oils to conditioner, on the other hand, is boss. I love it. But oil by itself, for me, means dry dry hair.
i use castor oil. Love it.

I used to prepoo with EVOO but I don't anymore because I started washing my hair in the evenings.
