Wash n Go ladies...how many products do you use at once?

Happy Holidays ladies!

How many products do you use for your wash n gos? Right now I use a leave-in, styler, moisturizer, and gel. Eventually I also want to incorporate a light oil as well and I'm just wondering if I'm using to many products.
Shampoo: TJ Tea Tree Tingle (only to remove buildup)
Co-wash/Detangler: Suave Naturals Conditioner
Leave-in/Styler: Uncle Funky's Curly Magic
2nd day refresher: Uncle Funky's Thirsty Curls
Routine: Wash and Go
Porosity: Normal-High
Texture: Fine/Thin and Kinky

From shampoo or co-wash through gel - 5 or 6:
cowashor shampoo
conditioner or DT, then butter or oil product over that, and rinse
Pre-leave in (usually Abba Pure Gentle)
Leave in or Styler
Gel

I only wash and go in the warmer months so that I don't have to use so many products at once. When I used to w/g during the winter, I used lots of products to combact the dryness.

Here's what I currently do

Wash day:
1. wash with conditioner (or shampoo if needed)
2. condition (or deep condition if needed)
3. leave in
4. buttery product on ends
5. gel

On the off chance that I do a w/g in the winter, then it goes to this:

1. wash with conditioner
2. condition
3. leave in (lighter leave in to help absorb the water)
4. Oil/heavier leave in mix over length of hair (to seal in moisture)
5. heavier buttery/creamy styler
6. gel (if needed, but usually skip in winter)

The routine is the same for me summer or winter but the products may change based on what I need ingredient-wise.

After shampoo & conditioner I use: LI, Sealer (buttery creamy product), Gel

I don't know what category to put AOMM or KC Spiral Spritz. I use it for extra definition and in my routine it looks like: KCSS/AOMM, LI, Sealer, Gel
4a/b Texlaxed hair w/ highlights. Medium texture & high porosity.

HG's: CJ Daily Fix, Bobeam Cheris Hibiscus shampoo bar, KC Spiral Spritz, Knot Today, CJ Rehab, KBB LL Hair Mask, Cassia, KCCC, oil blend of Avocado, Camellia, Jojoba, & Meadowfoam oils

SL APL BSL MBL
Currently I use My Honeychild Type 3 Cream topped with Komaza Coconut Hair Pudding. I get soft touchable hold. During the summer, I pretty much only use Bee Mine Luscious Balanced Moisturizer.

1. co-wash/clarify & condition
2. Gel-
Long Aid in the summer
KCCC or DB's new curling cream gel in the winter

After two years of being natural, I am still looking for a leave-in that my hair likes.

First of all great thread. I thought I was crazy for having 4 steps, but they guarantee great hair days.

I use leave in, styler, curl cream, then gel

Everytime I try another combo, I get frizzy frizz..

If I am rocking a fluffy fro then no gel.

Just two. I very rarely do wash n go's.. .I experiment with them but don't wear them out...

Leave in (shea moisture curl smoothie)
Gel (eco styler on top of the smoothie)...
24 Months Post Relaxer

*Length : BSB (Below Shoulder Blade)/ Brastrap Length
*Long term goal: TB length (stretched of course)
*Short tern goal: Mid-back length (stretched -- by June 2011) / Shoulder length (FULL) curly
Two or three. Usually just a LI and styler, but I'm adding an oil for my growth goals...
Sometimes I just use one (usually a curl creme or LI), and if my styler stinks and I need a gel on top it can get up to four. But two is my usual.

Just two EVOO or sweet almond oil then I add a creamy butter or a product (like the old Afroveda Curl Define or whipped cream by curls) .
Hair Type: 3c/4a/4b, fine, normal porosity

After a cowash it's LI, Oil (Castor, Shea, or Olive) then Aloe Vera Gel.

But lately I've been doing more twistouts. I get fewer SSKs than with WandGs.
I only use 2: reg condish as my LI and a butter (used to use avocado butter) or gel (usually ecostyler olive oil). Or sometimes just conditioner only. I'm too lazy to go through all those steps and I don't like a lot of stuff in my hair... I have a slight phobia of buildup lol.

Usually 3. 2 conditioners + butter for sealing. Or 1 conditioner + activator gel + butter for sealing.

I don't subscribe to 1-4 typing system.
Healthy Hair = Good Hair
Dang

I use two products to wash and go. A slippery conditioner and curl activator gel. I can make it work with only my LongAid but the slippery condish makes for an easier application of the curl activator.
