ok, i've been using the denman for a while now & i actualy like it 'cause out of all the other tools i think this removes the most shedding but i found that it works best (that is doesnt rip out my hair) when i use combs first on hair soaked in conditioner & water. i said combs because i use both fine tooth (yes i said it!) & wide tooth ones. i mostly do mini twists and i find that the fine tooth comb can go through the tiny knots that form instead of cutting them out like i used to do. theres less breakage 'cause i'm extremely careful. my problem now is finding a conditioner with slip.
