I think coconut oil is good for your hair as a deep conditioner or if you use it as a leave in use it with lots of conditioners it works for my hair then and its so shiny and healthy looking... How did you use it when you tried it??

So I have decided to try to avoid coconut oil in my hair and cook with it instead. Yummy
This is just because the coconut oil turns solid at room temperature so it is actually turning solid in your hair because your hair is not warm. Your probably using too much.

I'm allergic to coconut oil. It also dries me out. Had some luck with using coconut milk as a PT,but turns out, my hair likes a bit of daily protein, so moving on...
