Question The Tangle Teezer and 4b hair

Anyone tried it? And if so, what were your results? Deal or dud for 4b tresses?

I remember at my friends house when we were doing my hair we used it. It was quite good, got my tangles out and smoothed my hair nicely. Though i would actually like to try it again just to be sure. But so far so good

Thumbs up Wish I had known about this sooner

I've used it twice and I loved it so much I now have three.

FYI, there are now out of stock on Sally's website.

I used it once and found it easy to use. All of the hair that came out (that I checked the ends for)was shed hair. I used it on wet hair with a conditioner. I'm trying it again today on my dd's hair and my hair. If I like the results from today, I'll probably go get another one!

I love this product. I just bought one today and it works great on my hair. I thought nothing would get through my hair, but the Tangle Teezer is great!

OK! The Tangle Teezer is the truth! I have always been tender headed & DREADED detangling, but this gets allll the tangles out painfree. Wish I had gotten two of them. Dont sleep on this one ladies!

Question

i used it for the first time tonight. i'm a FAN!!! a lot of hair came out but i think it needed to because i've been very bad on detangling. my hair was matted at the end and this got a lot of hair out and when i twisted it didn't feel knotty at the ends like it usually does, no hair balls hanging on.

questions for the longer term tangle teezer users: do you find over time you shed less hair? also, how often are you using the product?

i think i'm going to buy a 2nd one too. just because. losing hair to matting and tangling has caused my hair not to flourish like it should. this tangle teezer could be the game changer i needed for longer hair!!!

Okay, I'm convinced. I'll have to try this. Sally's, here I come!

@TruQueen01 - Love the hair in the avatar pic. Is that a twist out? Pray tell!

I used the TT on my dd's fragile 4b hair today and it's definitely a keeper. I think I'm going to get the cute flower designed Tangle Teaser for her! I'm sold! Also, the detangling session was quicker and seemed more efficient.

I think I got one of the last ones via Sally's website. It arrived this past Friday and I used it for the first time on Saturday. After one use, I really like it. It seem to get out the shed hair that the shower comb misses and is definitely more gentle than the Denman, which I rarely ever use any more.

Thanks! Yep, was a twistout from chunky twists right in front & flat-twistout everywhere else. I got so many compliments that day but I could kick myself b/c cant remember what I used so I could recreate this. Stopped journaling after my first anniversary...

Thumbs up

I have thick kinky 4b hair (strands themselves are medium). I did a video (http://www.youtube.com/user/pookinapp16) comparing the TT with my Denman D41 on finger detangled dry hair that had just come out of cornrows. It did very well, keeper!

I really want to get one and try it on my hair. You all have convinced me but everytime I go to the Sally's nearby they are sold out! This is a very popular item.

I supposed I could order it from Sally's online, but I really don't want to. Today is wash day for me and I was hoping I'd have it in my hot little hands by now. I literally walked into a local Sally's the other day and the sales clerk told me that a woman had just bought the last one just moments before I walked in! (Grrrr!)

Tangle Teezer! I need you in my life! Where ya at?!?!

Well folks, I finally walked into a Sally's that was down to its last two Tangle Teezers and I got one of them!

I used it last night and let me just say that I worship the ground that Shaun P (the creator) walks on now.

I'm almost afraid to get excited thinking that my first time use of the Tangle Teezer was a fluke. But if it's not a fluke...let me tell you this thing has changed my regimen permantly; I will never be without it:

1) It cut my detangling time down from 50 to 60 minutes to like 10 to 15 minutes and that's with still detangling in sections (8 sections total).

2) I detangled with the Tangle Teezer on dry hair before my prepoo instead of finger detangling and when I was finished I was shocked at how little hair was in the brush. I actually combed through the sections (gently with a wide tooth comb because I don't really comb my hair dry anymore) to make sure that it was actually detangled and the comb slid through like a hot knife through butter. I didn't hit a single snarl or knot.

3) My dry, detangled hair felt so smooth and soft that it had the feeling of blow dried hair. The curl was SIGNIFICANTLY loosened.

4) After shampooing and conditioning and applying my LI, I went through my sectioned hair again with the Tangle Teezer just to make sure product was evenly distributed and my hair didn't even feel like my own it was so soft and supple. AMAZING.

5) And the amount of hair I shed compared to what I used to lose when I finger detangled and used a wide tooth comb to distribute product was like comparing the size of a grapefruit to the size of a pea. It was that big of a difference.

To say I am floored by this brush is an understatement. Like I said, I can't imagine being without it from here on out in my journey and I'm feeling like several of the others of you and want to purchase another, maybe even two others for back up.

I LOVE IT!

a deal for me. I think the lack of a handle makes me slow down more on those areas too.

I also like that the bristles are softer when i do the hand-hair-brush sandwich smoothing thing. The denman would hurt a bit moving across my palm.

Anyone with 4b hair NEEDS this thing. Anyone with coarse and dense hair NEEDS this thing. It's wonderful!
