Tonight is wash night and I'm going to see how well it does for my hair. If it works as well as everybody says it does, I'll put the Denman in permanent storage.

Now that's some mess right there. Hopefully some people will realize that its sold at Sally's for considerably less.
@ Luvmylocs, I stopped questioning why it works after the first time I used it I'm just so glad it does lol

I have dense hair and I'm a heavy shedder too. The TT doesn't make much difference for me as far as the amount of hair but for people like us that's not a bad thing. We need those hairs out. Shed hairs are one of my main culprits for knots. Once the shed hairs tangles in the rest of my hair often my only remedy is to cut them out. I could never be just a finger comber or wide tooth comber. And I like TT better than the Denman

I don't think I see a difference in the number of shed hairs. (darn tangles) I've used this thing twice and I'm way overdue for trim, so maybe I'll make an assessment after that. It did cut down my detangling time to about 20 minutes from an hour, so it's ok.

Omg!!! Love It!!
This gets 2 snaps in a circle!! LOL Thank you ladies for this thread. I went to Sally's last night and got the tangle teezer. It works like a charm, much better than the Denman in the distribution of product. I need to get another so I have one in the shower and one with my styling products!!

As someone with very fine and thin hair (if you look at my hair wrong, it gets splits and knots), I am amazed at how this thing works. The Denman shredded my hair when I used it for ONE week. My single-strand knots have reduced considerably and very few split ends with the Tangle Teezer. AMAZING!

Ya, they've been selling them for about 2 years. I bought mine from them because there was no other place selling them. Then Sally's got on them in a few months later so now I'm salty but oh well.

Loved it with my Wash and Go but...
I just couldn't resist and bought the purple one last night (I was a little pissed with my Sallys experience because I called before I went and got some ditzy chick that I could tell she didn't know what the TT was and instead of saying so, just said they didn't have it. I went anyway, and not only did they have it, it was across from the register!!! ).
Anyway...I used it this morning for my wash-n-go and got a little freak out when it immediately slipped through. I almost thought I missed my hair. What I loved was the fact that my shed hair virtually zip and that my conditioner wasn't slinging all over the place like it does when I detangle with my shower comb. I also think I can cut down the amount of condish I use with the TT. I got great clumpage and thick curls when I rinsed out the condish, which I don't normally get until I apply stylers...then I had to ruin it by finger combing my leave-in and BM Curly Butter Tomorrow I'm going to try to apply the products without finger combing and lightly go over with the TT and see what happens. All and all I'm very pleased and so thankful for this site!

Thanks, Tabby Sue! I got the pink one at Sally's today and from what you are saying it sounds like I need to use it to distribute my leave in and styling product. Gotta love trial and error!!

so I was visiting my parents in the bay and I got this today. I LOVE IT.
I only used this brush today no other tools (not even fingers). I rinsed my hair with conditioner then used it to detangle. Very easy, no tugging at all, and I had the smallest ball of hair I've ever had at the end of a detangling session. And I didn't not have to use a wide tooth comb first, all I used was the teezer. It glides through tangles and I have no pesky knots, just smooth hair from root to tip. It may very well replace my paddle brush
It does take some getting used to because of the no handle, but I kinda like it without one
If you haven't already, get this!!! SRSLY, get it!

I NEED ONE!!!!!!
The annoying thing is, I walked past a whole stand of them last week but then I read a thread on brushes and a few people suggested the Aveda paddle brush, so I got that instead. Its ok, I guess, but now after reading this thread and watching about 10 youtube reviews, I want me one of these!!! You ladies are just pushers!!!

I bought the pink one last night and now that everyone is saying that you can use it to distribute your stylers, I will go back and get the black one. They didn't have the purple one when I went last night. I can't wait to try it. I'll report back tomorrow.
