Default Kitchen Breakage

I just had to share this. Because this problem has been driving me crazy.

My left side was shorter than my right side so I cut the right side. OF COURSE soon after that my right side started breaking and my left side became longer. So this time I went to someone professional to to get the back evened out, But the left side breakage continued.

I tried just about everything on my left patch because I am not going to cut the back even one more time. I have already cut both sides twice. Conditioner, castor oil, no straightening, no brushing, henna, protein, HM sprays...I have tried every thing on that kitchen...then I finally figured it out.

My engagement ring! I was in the shower and noticed some hairs stuck in. I wore it on my left hand and then when we got married I switched it to my right hand.

I'm trying to remember to keep my hands out of my hair when I have my ring on. Although that has caused me to forget to put it back on at times which always causes a raised eyebrow from my hubby.

I just had to share this in case anyone else has been going through the same problem.

I don't have a ring but I noticed when my nails chipped or I if my wore my satin cap or scarf in the same place I would have breakage. It's gets so annoying now that it's cold I have to wear a hat to keep warm.

That's why I keep my nails short/filed, cuticles trimmed, and keep my hands from being ashy. Makes a difference.
