Protective Styles for thin 4b hair?

Okayy so, I'm still kind of new and overwhlemed with being natural but I have a general idea. I was wondering if anyone can help me find styles that dosent make me have to braid my hair every night and comb it out every morning to do an afro or afro puff. It's too much manipulation and breakage. Something that could at least last me for a week or two. With my schedule and working out soo much, I just dont have time. I always get braid extensions for 2 months at a time but I would like to do something with my natural hair. Any suggestions?

Note: I cant't really braid to well and twists/twistouts and braids dont look too good on me. Maybe because I have thin hair?

Thanks!
I also have fine 4b hair. Cornrows work well for me. I never liked twist/braidouts on me either, but I'm experimenting with pins now. They work better now that my hair is longer.

Maybe try a half wig or mini twists. I know that you don't think that twists look good on you, but mini twists are smaller, will usually hang very well even if you have short hair, and tend to not look "scalpy" if your hair isn't very dense. Check out You Tube for some ideas. You can get some really cute half wigs from the BSS, but you may have to shape them to get the look you want. HTH.
Thanks for the suggestions. Greatly appreciate it
