Eco Styler with Olive Oil?

So I used some new products last night and I love they way they turned out. Fist I deep conditioned with Proclaim Natural 7 oil which is is made with Argan Oil and is %100 vegan and paraben free and only &6.99 at Sally's! I then rinsed, used some knot today leave in and applied my Eco Styler with Olive Oil...I wanted Eco Styler w/ Argan Oil but Sally's was sold out....I love the results and the price, I actually think I prefer this gel to Kinky Curly Custard! Anywho I just ordered some hair milk, miss jessie's pudding and some new shampoo ( I got the 2oz sizes b/c I'm not ballin like that b/c I'm a college student lol) and I was just wondering what you guys think about Eco Styler with Olive Oil..or any of the products mentioned above? Can you enlighten me in terms of ingredients? Any insight is cool, I'm just looking to start a conversation

I have it and the container is practically full. I keep telling myself I like it, and even consider buying other versions of EcoStyler. It does give shine, but it's difficult to get into my hair because it's super sticky to me and my hair dries crunchy just as if there was no olive oil in the product. Even when I mix it with my own oil my hair still dries crunchy. HOWEVER, it gives my hair a very strong hold and the sections that need something a bit heavier always curl up into little corkscrews when I use this. To be honest, all the reviews I've read online and have seen on YouTube say that there's pretty much no difference between the Olive and the Argan, that the hold of the Argan is slightly softer, but hardly noticeable to really be sure. I like the smell of the Olive though, makes me think of lime Jello lol As far as ingredients, the actual olive oil and argan oil are at the near bottom of the list on the container, meaning there's not much in there.
i love ES w/OO gel, 1st day crunch and all ~

...by the 2nd day ..after sleeping on it and scrunching in some olive oil the next day, I'm fine.

I love that can get a similar effect to an old braid out but with less tangles and manipulation. Also no worries about scalp part sections showing.

someone posted recently a link that there's something bad in the Eco Styler ingredients... honestly I'm just putting my head firmly in the sand for now because I'm enjoying using it too much.

I'm working my way through my first bucket...also made a mix of gel, conditioner and olive oil that turns out less crunchy than straight gel.

I haven't tried KCCC because I'm assuming that it won't have enough hold for my hair.

Lanisha, you're right, it is really Jello-esque! like a kiwi lime sour apple jello look. The smell is fine to me...some YTers say it stinks or it's too cologne-y. It's fine to me.

I absolutely love Eco! I've been using it for about a month (bc 2/26) and I just cant get enough. With some leave in underneath (Giovanni) it makes my hair curl up in these juicy shiny curls...LOVESSS IT! Head in the sand on the bad stuff...whateva man!
OK, I've been afraid of doing WnG with gel, but I have this tub of Eco Styler OO and I need to use it, LOL. My goal is to get 3rd++ WnG hair. I used some yesterday, but I think I was too conservative with it.

If it does get on my scalp it literally feels suffocated, instantly. I have to wash my hair when that happens. Honestly, after watching tons of Youtube videos and just seeing people on the street who slick down their edges many of them have hairlines that look kinda...yeah. But that could just be because of their brushing technique???

It's been over a month but no ill effects so far <knocks on wood>.

i wouldn't be surprised if there is an eventual gotcha in the works. file under 'too good to be true!'

I wonder if there's something else that would stretch my hair out like Eco Olive does. I tried Dep Sport gel level 11 but it's too thin/weak. Very little stretch. I never did my entire head with it because I'm afraid of tangles.
