Nat, your thoughtful review encouraged me to audition the Pure Clean gel (i'm a gel girl!). It doesn't contain some of the commonly found drugstore gel ingredients my hair dislikes (i.e., Carbomer, PVP, Polyquats) and the results were lovely. This really is a 'clean' gel that doesn't feel producty.
Not the best pic but this is second day hair with KCCC (i use it beneath everything) and Pure Clean gel. If your hair likes gel, I highly recommend this one. Thanks again, Nat.

Noice girl! Good definition. I have KCCC and never experimented using it with a non KC product. I keep hearing they don't play well with other lines. I have to give that a try. Thx.

Thanks for the reviews, Naturlista!
Has anyone tried the shampoo?
Here are the ingredients:
Garnier Fructis Haircare Pure Clean Fortifying Shampoo
Water (Aqua), Amino Methyl Propanol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Hexylene Glycol, Pyrus Malus (Apply Fruit Extract), Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium Benzoate, Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Salicylic Acid, Benzoic Acid, Niacinamide, Pyridoxine HCI, Capric/Caprylic Triglycerides, Linalool, Hexylcinnamal, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) (Sugar Cane Extract), Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon Peel Extract), Camellia Sinensis (Leaf Extract), Malpighia Punicifolia (Acerola Cherry) (Acerola Fruit Extract), Sodium Hydroxide
I looked up to see what Amino Methyl Propanol was, and apparently it's a pH adjuster. What? Uhhh. How do they have more of that in there than the detergent? And what's up with all the salt?
I'm going to pick this up next time I'm out. Btw, this was the first result when I typed in "Garnier Pure Clean" into Google.

I tried it last Friday, I had a sample. I liked it, I wanted something to really clean my hair before a deep treatment. I swear there was a 'fate in the ingredients on the pack though?

Ohhhh, you're right. I got those ingredients from drugstore.com's description. Here are the one's I got from walgreen's website:
Aqua (Water) , Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate , Cocamidopropyl Betaine , Sodium Chloride , Hexylene Glycol , Pyrus Malus Extract (Apple Fruit Extract) , Fragrance , Sodium Benzoate , Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride , Citric Acid , Salicylic Acid , Benzoic Acid , Niacinamide , Pyridoxine HCl , Caprylic , Capric Triglyceride , Linalool , Hexyl Cinnamal , Saccharum Officinarum Extract (Sugar Cane Extract) , Citrus Medica Limonum Peel Extract (Lemon Peel Extract) , Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract , Malphigia Punicfolia (Acerola Fruit Extract) , Sodium Hydroxide
What is UP with the salt though?! I thought that was added as a thickener. Ugh. I swear, I am about to just start making my own shampoo.

Have you tried Kinky Curly's Come Clean? It's a cleansing poo without the harsh stuff. You can find it at www.stockngo.com for $9.99 and for your first order you get 20% off and free shipping over $25.

Yeah, probably not good if you wash your hair everyday, not sure if you do. I don't use it often and a little goes a long way.

Let me know if you see it because it seems as though the Pure Clean line isn't in all stores. I checked a RA and DR today and didn't see it. I know it was recently launched, but I mean come on, it should be everywhere by now.

Picked up the Cream and Gel today from Rite Aid (it was buy one get one half off). I decided to wash my hair tonight so I gave it a go...I love the texture of the gel, but I'm not sure about the cream. It went on nice, but wasn't really absorbing into my hair...so I broke out the diffuser...it's still a bit white, but should go away once dry. Also, my tighter curls in the back look good, but the looser curls up top are almost straight and sorta limp.
There might be too much glycerin in the gel...my hair was limp but very soft.

I initially saw and bought this stuff in Times Square so I'm going to scope the more gentrified areas out to see.

Kewl, I need to locate a CVS near my job. I don't see those at all in my journeys in the area.

Did you use the gel and creme together or just the gel?
Has anybody seen this line in the CVS 3 for $10?
