So I unsubscribe from AfroVeda a very long time ago but for some odd reason I get a email today saying they have a new fruit line that came out. So I'm very curious and went to the site to look at what mess this crazy woman has come up with now (and not tested before selling). I was like um NO when I say it but I noticed that it said it was on sale for $21.00. I was like wait a minute, that's suppose to be a sale??? So i figured she went back up in prices again and that's when I saw that the other butters were on sale too.

The Hemp Seed Lock Twist and roll 9.5oz (really 8oz) was $16??? The Pur Whipped that people seem to still ike is just $11???

Um can someone help me understand why this price gauging Nut just dropped her prices to almost where she was a year ago. The cost of raw materials is the same and the state of the economy is worst (those were her excuses to raise them in the first place) but the price dropped... Why?

I don't want to put too much energy into this but I'm just wondering what you ladies think. I'm surly not about to buy anything and I'm not about to go run tell people that this crap is on sale, but WTH?!???!

Because she was fakin' on why she increased prices then realized that she was getting too big for her britches and no one was that pressed to buy her stuff. I was almost tempted to get some PWG...I love that stuff...then I remembered that month wait time and how I already have enough staples without it.

I'm still passing on AfroVeda. My hair is in bad enough shape and with her untest and untrusted products, lies and drama I don't need my hair acting up anymore.

Side note (Do you think going to heated Yoga with CJ Rehab in my hair is a good idea?) I might get a large jug of it but I'm still undecided...

It's a great price but I can't eff with sheisters. It would be really disingenuous for me to buy her stuff anyway, since I blasted her on my blog and and won't even relay what I used if I used whatever stuff I have left over on my hair and people ask me lol. Besides, she changed the ingreds since the last time I got the PWG (over a yr ago), so I might not even like it the same. Meh.

Yeah, I'm not buying either. I actually gave some of my stash away recently to some people in the Natural YT world. I'm addicted to Curl Junkie and Komaza Care right now that I can't live without them in my stash, LOL.

I think I only have 3 of the 10 jars of AfroVeda I had from back in September 2010 left and I think I'm going to donate them to Dress For Success. I just hope there are no ill effects from it.

I've only tried the Coco Latte Mask it was never a repurchase for me and the carrot seed bar. However even though I don't want to be bothered with AfroVeda my face is loving that carrot seed bar. It's fading my acne marks which make me a happy camper. I was thinking about ordering 2 unless anyone knows of something that will work better.

Wow. Reading this totally took me back. This is so on point. I was fighting the urge to try her new butter and spray. I think you took away the urge.

It's bad when a die-hard PJ like me steps back. There's too many good choices, and more to come. As much as I'd like to buy, I can't encourage foolishness.

I just took my butt over to AmazonMom.com and ordered some household needs with free shipping and 30% discounts and coupon codes. Yup, spent my money elsewhere. Now if I can just get Curl Junkie and Qhemet to do a FLASH Sale of like 40% off or more then I would have a Product Junkie Attack and burn my Visa up, lol.

Oh ok. I haven't tried the carrot seed from them but I hear good things about the Carrot Bar from Chagrin Valley so I might have to try that one on my acne.
