Anyone else have this issue with DM butter-creme?

I bought a jar last week because it was on sale. I noticed that the oils are separating. Have any of you had this problem with it? I obviously can't return it since I've used it. Should I try stirring it?

The same thing happened to mine. I stirred it back up, but it seperated a few days later. This is my first jar so I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

Mine looks nothing like the picture lol.
OMG I am too. I got mine about 2 weeks before the sale and mine is seperating.

I know LolaKinkz was surprised when I said that I didn't like it but mine is starting to look like the picture above.

It's not mositurizing my hair at all.

The smell is leaning towards the coffee side and not a butter cream smell too.

Mine isnt as bad as in the picture above but it's getting there.

Since this was my first purchase from them I thought this was the norm... (I'm having AfroVeda flash backs, LOL)

But you're not alone. I'mhaving issues with it too and it's not acting right in my hair, but I didn't know how it was suppose to act since this is the first time I'm using it.
Did any of yours look like the photo on the site? Mine was always sort of chunky and not smooth.

Hmmm..I have a jar that I purchased last fall. Still looks like whipped cake icing. *shrug*

I have one jar from last year that is thicker whipped consistency. The ones that I received from the sale aren't as thick but I haven't had any issues. Contact the company cause the stuff shouldn't be separating

I have two jars, and both of them are the same consistency and look like frosting. I'd contact Ayanna if I were you.

I bought the Super Butter Creme when it first came out. Mine was soupy...you could pour it out of the jar. I thought that was how it was supposed to be, till Shawny clued me in.

I gave mine away, and I never reordered.

Have you contacted DM? I would do that first. Maybe they will replace it for you.
I'm gonna check my jar when I get home. I already had a problem this week with the cocoahemp buttermilk having white chunks in it. I ordered my stuff during last month's sale and I haven't contacted the owner yet cuz I didn't think she would do anything.

I sent them an email. I'll let you know when I get a reply.

Update:

I got an email from Ayanna stating that the company I bought the buttercreme from was not yet an authorized dealer (hairizon). That has me a bit worried (I got miracurl gelly from them as well), but they offered me a coupon for half off the butter creme.

Wait, did you contact Hairizon? You should definitely let them know, and they might let you return it. When I initially got my Miracurl from 3 Sisters, I wasn't sure if it was the right formulation (old vs. new), and they assured me it was the new one but I could return it if I wanted to.

Most companies are like this. As for how they are selling the product, anyone can buy something in bulk and resell it. Oyin has like a 20% discount if you order only around $200 worth of product. I could do that buying things for myself, so it would be easy for a store to buy products and get a discount, then resell at retail price to make a profit.

What the wholesale account does is give the reseller a deep discount for buying an abundance of product and would protect the reseller if there were complications with the product. I have seen cases where someone had an issue with their product, and the reseller replaced it, but then the in turn company sent the reseller a replacement.

The company doesn't have any Donna Marie products listed now. I'm not sure what happened, but I guess they ran out of stock. They are a relatively small company.

Hi just to chime in, my butter cream looks like that too and I ordered from DM directly. I was like afroveda again I had to pour out the oil, whatever I did it would seperated again.
