Default Anyone Tried OriginalMoxie Products?

Link: Original Moxie

"Each hair care product is hand crafted from natural ingredients, enriched with custom herbal infusions, and enhanced with iconic essential oil fragrances."

As a transitioner I've been using some of the products -- I like them so far. Interested to see if any fully natural ladies have heard of them or are using them. Any youtube fans of Ms.Vaughn and MeechyMonroe will find reviews on this line of products!

Cheers!

I have some products from them and I'm still playing around with it...I like the Twist Mist for fluffing my hair when I don't want to use a water based product (it gives great shine too), and the Scalp Therapy makes my scalp all tingly and fun. But, I don't have issues with flaky scalp so I can't say how much it helps with that. I often put it on my temples at night.

Actually...I just used the Scalp Therapy b/c my head was itchy in my ponytail. I think this happens to me because I have a lot of hair and when it's all up my scalp can't breathe. It alleviated it instantly. Good show.

Ok so I ordered the Shape Shifter because for some reason I think the Just Gel is going to work exactly how Jane Carters Condition and Sculpt does. The consistency reminds me of C&S.

I didnt like the C&S because it really tangled my hair A LOT, Im holding off on trying the Just Gel but has anyone tried the Shape Shifter?

I have been meaning to try this line. Glad to see that they have more sample sizes available now than when the site first came up. I will treat myself to some samples the next time I use up something full-size from another brand (gotta have space to put the new stuff!)

I didn't like the deep conditioner, but I liked the Everyday Leave-In. I just ordered the Hair Bling High Shine Pomade to try out.

Just checked out the website. I like that she uses a 3-D diagnostic system, based on curl size, hair density and strand thickness. So it's not just based on hair type 1, 2,3 or 4 but on all the factors that play into your hair's needs. It makes me think that she really understands hair. Because of that I will definitely try some of her products. Please keep the reviews coming, ladies!

I haven't tried any of their products, but my sister tried the Twist Mist Lightweight Shine spritz at a natural hair meetup last month. It looked like she had dipped each individual loc in a vat of glitter. I wish I had sampled it...could've used it on my uber-dull (yet impeccably soft) twist out that day.

I tried the just gel on Sunday and it's not bad at all, it dried with some hold and is not crunchy, to refresh I spray some water and on the 4th day I added more water and just gel, the thing that stands out about this gel is that my hair has stayed moisturized. I put it in a puff this am, cause it was looking a lil crazy but my hair still moisturized. I did use a LI like I always do.

What leave-in did you use under it?

The Shape Shifter is a creamy styler so it goes on very white. Its easy to slide down the hair but the white look seems to be going away fairly quickly( Im sitting under my soft bonnet though).

It doesnt seem to be that hard of a hold so far. It didnt stretch my hair any more than any other gel, however in the instructions it said you could finger twirl or twist the hair to help it elongate.

Thanks Shawny. did you get the Just gel? I'm still looking for a gel. The coil jam didn't give me second day hair. The day started out well. By the end of the day, my hair was dry like the desert. I had to wash my hair and deep condition it. Oh well...
