Default I've found less is more

I keep it very simple and have gotten amazing results. My purchases have been not from the internet and very little on ground. My motto is it's about process and not about products. What have been your practices and do you have a motto.

I'm not and have never been a leave-in person. Whatever styling product I use has to be able to work by ITSELF with no added product.

I need to keep my routine and product usage simple and to a minimum. I order three products online, because I can't find them locally. IMO they're the BEST for my hair needs, but if push comes to shove I got something locally I can use.

For me less is more as well. I'm not a product junkie and I stick with the same routine no matter what I'm using. With my hair the less product that I use the better my hair looks. Keeping my scalp clean, my hair moisturized, and sealed are what work for me. I stick with it because it never fails me.

Same. I really can't be bothered with a complicated routine. My main focus is keeping my hair moisturised.

This is what I'm striving for with my hair products. I don't like or have the time for complicated hair routines. I've purchased a lot since my bc last summer and I'm hoping to have my staples by my one year anniversary.

I like to try new products but really the routine is simple. Rinse dc leave in style. Then when needed I use henna, baking soda, etc.

+1 I can't be heavy handed with product or my hair is a mess. I usually section my hair into three parts and add a dollop per section.

Curious: how much is a "dollop"?

For illustration purposes...

Sometimes its a little more, sometimes a little less depending on how thick or fluid a product is. The only thing I'm heavy handed with is conditioner for detangling purposes.

That's about me give or take, except I have to do at least 6 sections - sometimes 7 or 8 depending on the style and/or product. Yes, when it comes to conditioners, all bets are off, LOL. I'm using as much as it takes.

Thanks for the photos!

This is about what I use for wash n gos. I use less per section when I do braid outs because I have about 12 sections.
