Have anyone tried terressential mud wash? Is it worth buying?

No, but check out Dawnyelle on Youtube. She just did the detox using this product. She loves it & gives a lot of detailed info about proper usage of the product.

I have used it and really luv it...left my hair soft and clean. Used on my daughter's hair as well and it made detangling a breeze.

Check out Nap85 on YT...she raves abt it and shows how she uses.

I just ordered some after seeing Naptural85's review on youtube. I'm in the UK so paid about as much as the price of the product in shipping, and they'll charge me customs when it arrives. This is the height of PJ-ism! It better be worth it. I will definitely report back after I have tried it.

Mine has finally arrived. It took so long to get to London and I was going through a phase where I was REALLY bored of doing my hair so now I have put it in kinky twists and won't get to try it out for another couple of weeks. Grr. Will update you when I do though.

I finally tried this out yesterday and so far I really like it! I am not doing the whole detox method they suggest, but instead used it like how naptural85 does in her video. My hair generally consists of clumpable coils for the most part, but much more fuzzy in the front, however you could really see the definition while the clay was on, even in the front, and the coils stayed defined even after I rinsed out. Also it literally melted the tangles out of my hair- I combed with it in, and it was a breeze. My hair definitely did not feel like I could skip conditioner afterwards, though. I didn't think it would, as my hair tends to be very dry normally, so I deep conditioned with some curl junkie deep fix and heat for an hour, and then did some large twists (about 12) with oyin hair dew and shine and define, and put some shea butter on my ends. Today my twistout was really soft and fluffy, and is still soft even though it is almost 10pm in London. It is normally extremely dry by this time. It also got my scalp really clean.

If it carries on working like this I probably will repurchase, but I will probably have it sent to a friend in the States and get it back to me some other way because that shipping was a killer. Its basically just bentonite clay with a few extracts, and a few people who have used this and compared it to making their own paste say there is no real difference, but I had never used bentonite clay, and find making my other ayurvedic pastes quite tedious, so it is nice to have this premixed.

Hmmmm....

My hair might be in need of a detox. I've been experimenting a lot lately.

I just drove to their Frederick Maryland location on an extended lunch break.

Please note: if you plon visiting this location, plan to stay in the area for a little while. There are tons of cute boutiques and antique shops in that neighborhood.

cowash/leave-in- AO conditioners, KCKT, and TJ conditioners
dc- BASK conditioners
moisture- BASK Honey Latte
styler- flaxseed gel

I've been curious about trying this, but the shipping and price stop me. I usually make my bentonite into a thicker paste, but this cleanser and the Youtuber 'swimfe'(really good bentonite tutorial) have given me something to think about. I like the idea of detangling with it!
I find the clay powder easier to get(wholefoods, online cheap), so until it's convenient I don't think I'll try it.

Yep, it's a cute area....like downtown Westminster or Ellicott City.

So...maybe I didn't need a detox as badly as I thought. I washed three times yesterday, then again three times today. By the end of my third wash today, my hair felt like it was about to be stripped, so I won't be washing two times tomorrow as the directions recommend. Even though the directions say not to use anything else, I used some AOHSR as a leave-in. I figured that since it's all good stuff, that I wouldn't be hurting anything.

Yeah this is why I didn't follow the directions. I saw some youtube vids and a few ladies complained about dryness after like the 3rd or 4th day. I already have dryness issues, wasn't going to risk any more. Also that bottle (with shipping to london) is way too expensive to be using 3 times a day for however many days, so I used naptural 85's method.

Its been 5 days now, I have only moisturised my hair once during the week which is unheard of for me AND I had a long-haul flight on Weds too and wore my hair in a bun (I usually have to twist for flights to retain moisture), but its doing really well in terms of moisture. I also refused to go the whole 'use no additional products' route, but I used far less product than normal.

Haven't decided yet if I'll use it every week or just about once a month.

Ive been thinking about trying this product too, but last week I just made a bentonite clay paste and I think I'll just make another paste tomorrow until I decide if I want to spend the money on the mud wash.
