Default Head Bands

So I bought a pack of Goodies Ouchless head bands and I was trying to make a puff and everyone says double it and I have literally broke 2 headbands trying to double it. How do I stretch out the head band without breaking it ?

I make my puff with a cheap knee hi. You can adjust well with it.

Depending on how much hair you have, you probably don't need to double it. I didn't start doubling them until they got REALLY stretched out. Otherwise my puff was too tight or the band snapped!

To avoid popping it, I stretch mine first before I put it on.

Cosign on the above poster -- you may not need to double it.Personally, I do b/c I wanted the puff on top of my head rather than sitting in the back.

But..the knee high or top of a nylon/stocking (cut it at the waste part) will give you the most flexibility.

Or...just a cute silky/satiny/slick scarf!

I feel your pain 2 months post bc. I couldn't wear my ouch less goodies anymore. Knee hi' s do work, but stay clear of the sheer ones. Your curls will get caught in the thin elastic. I find that Targets little girls stockings are the best. You get a nice firm hold and they only cost $2, with there being two legs you get two head bands for $1. You can also cut along the leg of the stocking and create a nice wrappin piece for setting and holding smooth hairs in place. Besides, they have an assortment of colors and sizes so you can switch them up with your outfits. You should definitely give it a shot. You won't be disappointed!
