As I am twisting cream. It felt nice going on but my hair felt like sandpaper when it dried.

Well, it's safe to say that this product line is not for me. Glad I didn't pay for it!

Fantasia IC Gel - worried about the 'cone that's in it.

Hit: Herb N Life Coconut Hemp - This is a staple of mine, but I hadn't bought it in awhile because it's technically a pomade, although it does contain glycerin (which I didn't remember). Used it today on top of the Mixed Chicks Kids LI and it was so light and sheen-like, not heavy at all, my hair was like oh heyyyyy! My hair is drying so soft right now and it even depleted some canopy frizz. Welcome back to the rotation, lovah!

millcreek keratin conditioner: light protein treatment and helped strengthen my hair. I could tell the difference after washing.

I really wanted to buy the Agave gel but I stay away from it cause of the high dew points that's all we had so far. Are the dews behaving in your neck of the woods?

The dew is 70 and with both of these in my hair has been fine. I took a risk that like Ecostyler where glycerin is farther up the list, the actual amt or concentration isn't that much in the gel vs. the carbomers. I'm in NYC where it's very humid in the summertime and today it's 93 degrees and my hair has been ok. Granted, I haven't spent too much time outside the hospital since I came to work early this AM, but the dew was 61. Same deal pretty much.

I JUST GOT SOME OF THIS AND I LOVE IT. I got it on Saturday and so far so good. I also got the Rosemary Hemp oil they sell. It was right above the QB shelf so I picked up some Burddock Root and this Herb N Life line and I'm so happy I did.

possible hit:
Enso Buttercream as a sealant and refresher. Tried this over TW Mist Bodifier and Sta Sof Fro. Thumbs up. Tried it alone on dry hair and its okay. I think my hair needs to be atleast a little bit damp for this to really work. All three tests were done to moisturize twists. Umm..I might try this as an actually twisting cream/butter just for fun but so far I like it.

Hit:
Wash and go in sections - Finally stopped being lazy and decided to try this since my hair is getting longer and is so darn thick. Better distribution of product and less matting of my roots. I will have to get used to the extra time commitment tho..10-15 min w/ my previous "slap on product" method vs. over an hour trying to be more thorough.
Miss:
Wash and go w/ Fantasia IC clear - hair didn't shrink up as much as it normally does with just leave in and oil so that was nice, but it didn't really offer much hold and my hair looked a little ashy (dunno about that "greatest shine on earth" business). This works much better for me with slicked back styles.
On the fence:
Wash and go w/ Olive Oil Eco Styler - hair looked totally cute but dried crunchier than I would have liked, even tho I mixed the Eco w/ castor oil to try to bring down the crunch. 2nd day hair was much nicer when refreshed with Oyin Hair Dew and a smidge of JC Nourish and Shine, but I think I wanna try out the Pink Eco.
