Mine should be arriving tomorrow. I have a failed wash n go in my hair right now so I'll twist up my hair tomorrow so I can give my thoughts on it.

Those of you that have it, what's the texture [of the twist butter] like?

The twisting butter has an interesting scent. It doesn't smell medicinal to me. It has a powdery note, a floral note...it actually smells like honeysuckle rose (if you have smelled the AOHR conditioner). It kindof smells like that, but a little tamer (I was never a fan of the AOHR scent myself)

It's very softening. absorbs quickly. I will use it to seal and twist tomorrow. But I tried it on the end of a twist and it feels good. Not greasy at all

since I cannot wait till I get home...what are the ingredients? pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes please, please describe the scent....

lol @ my impatient ass
ingredients are olive oil, mango butter, rice oil blend, behenyl esters, cetyl alcohol, soy extract, plant wax, phthalate free fragrance.

The scent is hard to describe there is a hint of lemon and something else I can't put my finger on. It smells familiar though.

OMG I want this.

That's it I knew the scent was familiar.

Re-twisted last night with this. I used a little bit of BRBC as a moisturizer underneath, and now my hair is extremely soft and fluffy this morning. When my hair is this soft, my twists don't hold and I wind up with a big chunky fro by day's end.

However, the definition is good and frizz is nonexistent. So far, I like it.

And I wish this butter smelled like AO HSR. Maybe my sniffer is off, but it's more medicinal than floral/earthy to me. Good thing is that the scent is light and doesn't last at all. I can't smell it this morning.

I used the twisting butter to do medium twists on damp hair. The application was very smoothe, it's non greasy and my hair absorbed it with ease.My twists are bouncy and very soft. I'm not sure if it will set my hair for a twist out but my twists look and feel fabulous.

Got my twisting butter today! I'm gonna use it to twist tomorrow. I was gonna do my hair tonight but I'm too tired.

The scent of it is not bad but it's not great either. Scent isn't much of a deal breaker for me (unless it straight up STANK!) so it's aiite. But it smells a little funky to me. I can't put my finger on it but I'll have a better explanation of the scent when I really get to using it. What is with Qhemet and these scents though?lol

I'm not sure how I'll use this. Idk if I should use this just over a leave in or if I should use a moisturizer (AOHC) and use this butter to seal. The consistency of it reminds me of a pomade.

I used it over my leave in and my hair is very soft. I think if applied it on top of AOHC my hair would be really fluffy so I would leave that combo for when I'm wearing a puff or something.

I'll use my claudie's hair frappe leave in and then use the aethiopika twist butter on top for twisting. I'm putting faith into these new products.
