Curly HELP!!!
A little while ago I decided to straighten a chunk of the front and back of my hair to get a proper length check. I prepped my hair with a leave in and then used some shea butter creme to help protect my hair from breaking. I flat ironed on about 410-450 and it came out straight but not bone straight, but when I washed my hair to have it revert back...NOTHING
I used warm and cold water, shampoo and conditioner and even put my whole head in the shower even though I have some fresh twists in. Now I have a patch of the front and back of my head that is about 3a/3b. I've seen a few naturals who flat iron their hair and have it revert back so I tried almost the exact same method and now I have an unwanted loosened curl pattern. I feel terrible and I need to do something to get rid of this! What did I do wrong?! Better yet, How do I fix it?! Is my hair permanently heat damaged?!
Help Please!
