how do you use your leave-in's? how do you incorporate them into your routine? On wet hair, dry hair, once a day, with other products?

I use a leave-in once daily - sometimes twice since my hair is very porous. I usually use leave ins before sealing with an oil. I don't use Jane Carter, but I do use Shea Moisture leave ins.

Ditto, unless my hair is in twists. I tend to just leave my hair alone in twists, even if I leave them in for 4-5 days. Other than that I moisturize my hair 1-2 times daily too, as my hair is porous as well. I've never used Jane Carter, but I love SheaMoisture, especially the curl and hold style milk.

I love the Jane Carter leave-in. I typically use it when I'm doing twists on dry hair.
I use and like both. I will use Shea Moisture after cowashing and under gel before making my twists. I use the Jane Carter Leave-In spray as my refresher in the morning and before bed.
FYI _ I did have a problem recently with SM and buildup so you might need to clarify now and then.
I often wonder about the order in which to put the product on. I feel like the oil should go on first because it (coconut oil) penetrates the hair shaft. How do you layer your products? What has been your trial and error?

I use Shea Moisture DTM as a leave-in about once or twice a week. I apply it on damp hair. I do not mix it with anything else nor do I seal after using it.
