this is just a darn shame...some real life ro-sham-bo bullsh$$. What is up with these companies? Im sorry you had to deal with this crap Nea. Im really sorry for this chick...her business isn't even off the ground good and she is already acting up.

Hello, Customer! Thank you so much for your hair butter purchase. I really do appreciate your business.

I apologize for not updating my Etsy site to reflect the change in the hair butter formulation. I have reformulated the butter, after doing further research and discovering......................insert whatever in this space..........

I believe the current formulation is superior to the original. However, I want you to be 100% satisfied. I would love for you to try the current formulation and see how you like it. I really believe you will love it as much as I do! If that's not acceptable, I'm willing to issue a PayPal refund.

I'll wait to hear from you...

Sincerely
NEA
It's all good though...I'M ON STRIKE. I ain't buyin' NUTHIN'.

Took her too long to come out with it. I waited so long for it. By the time she actually released it, the inner hype had died down.

Meh...I'm tired of these Etsy shops, opening...then closing, like trap doors. As soon as I go to buy something, the shop is "closed".

Then, when I do try to give somebody a chance, they klown...when they're in the wrong.

SMH - another company on my ish list....

The one thing that annoys me about some Etsy (and non Etsy) vendors is that they don't list the ingredients properly on their sites. I don't want to know what the "key ingredients" or "it has some of this and some of that", I want to know the full list of ingredients - everything; not just the "main ingredients". Frustrates and pisses me off.

BUT, if your product listing says, "Black Seed Oil" is in the product..it should actually be in there, and the product label should be identical to the website ingredient list. Everything should match. That's my problem with this chick.

I'm on a official "No Buy", till I get ovah my bad feelings.

As far as Etsy goes for hair products? It's Njoi Creations, and that's pretty much it.

For me it was the shipping and customer service. Plus the rude emails I got from her after doing a video about her products. One subbie had a bad experience with her and she contacted me saying rude things about that subbie, that was so unprofessional, so I don't buy from her.

But I have recommended her stuff to others, sent some stuff to Splinta24 and louloumatou and they really like it, I wasn't going to use it all quick enough. So I didn't really bash her products, they al'ight, but her stank attitude and poor shipping was too funky for me to be a return customer.

@Elle, I noticed that while doing a review on KBB Luscious Locks, the ingredient list on the bottle was jacked up. Some things were even listed twice. I never contacted them or really thought much of it. I just thought it was because of the packaging change from brown, to white, to now black. Gonna have to start looking more carefully at thier labels but I haven't ordered from them in a while.

I'm sorry for everyone who is having bad experiences with this companies.

With that being said, WTF/LMAO at the pettiness of these owners. It's entertaining in the same way terrible reality tv is entertaining. It's not a complete train wreck because the NC.com customers are being adults, but I am stunned by the shenanigans of these companies.

Personally, I'm not really into buying/trying hair products. I stick with my on-the-ground staples so I have never had to experience any of this tomfoolery firsthand. I appreciate all the ladies who do helpful reviews though.

Haven't read every post on this thread so this may have already been mentioned, but what i do when i get something different from what i ordered and seller is not being willing to own up to and fix the mistake, is open a paypal dispute, they have 'item not as expected' option. Worked with my recent ebay purchase. What i got was different in every way from what i ordered, and when i emailed seller i was getting no response at all. When they did respond finally, after a few of my emails, they acted like they don't believe me and wanted me to take pictures and show all kinds of proof. Like it was sooo impossible for them to make a mistake lol.

So i said no, i don't have a camera atm and not going into any trouble and expense to get one just to take pics for you. And then i opened a dispute. got money back instantly. Seller still didn't acknowledge that they made a mistake tho. But at least i wasn't at a loss.

ps, assuming paypal was used. but it prolly works with cc purchases too. dunno, do cc companies help with such issues the way paypal does? like order wasn't received or different from what expected?

Ah...to be a well pampered pootiecat. I can sleep on my owner's lap. Roll over on my back when I want my stomach rubbed. Purr with delight. Suddenly jump off and walk away for no reason. Not respond when I am called. Throw my leg up and lick with intense abandon. Sleep 85% of the time. Hang my head off the couch and view the world upside down.

I haven't had many issues when ordering online but the 2 that I did....I received the items and they were totally ruined. The company told me no refunds and to "just take it to the cleaners or use Shout to get the spots out." I contacted Paypal and informed them of my dispute and after providing the email from the company Paypal ruled in my favor and refunded the full amount. The second time Paypal ruled against me and I filed a dispute against Paypal with American Express and Paypal immediately reopened my dispute which resulted in the vendor refunding my money.
