It seems sort of gimmicky to me, almost "too good to be true". That's just how the company comes off. The ingredients don't blow me away, the products look like average products.

But if you decide to use it, let us know! I only ever heard of people with straight hair or looser curls use it.
Hair type: Mostly 3C, medium porosity to high porosity depending on the day, dense, fluffy, dry, tangly!

I agree. This so-called Cleansing Conditioner has the same ingredients as most other conditioners - yawn.

I agree with the others , its an expensive gimmick. Nothing revolutionary

After I make to NC.com, I realized Carol's Daughter, Miss Jessie's, Wen, and a few other brands have no place here, LOL.

A couple of the people at my job swear by the stuff, but they are Hispanic and have looser curls. One of them showed me a pamplet of theirs that came with her order and after seeing their ingredients, I wasn't impressed. It isn't even CG, as their stuff has a cone at the bottom of the ingredient list, which may be important if you follow CG strictly. One co-worker told me she got a gallon of one of their conditioners from QVC for $180. My jaw nearly hit the floor. For that money, I expect the stuff to detangle and style my hair for me. SMDH.

I have tried the Fig way back when I first went curly. I got the large bottle from a QVC sale.

Mediocre at best. I know I'm a PJ, really badly, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I think it got some of the gunk out of my hair, but not all, and had just ok slip, but as a one step only use product, it's a no go. I still needed to condition my hair, something was missing... moisture, slip, softness.

I still have half the large jar left sitting in my shower, I guess as decoration, LOL.

Now I do wash my son's hair from time to time with it, one-two pumps will do, he has 4b hair, still doesn't make it soft or anything. Since he has a TWA it doesn't matter about slip or detangling with his hair.

In my opinion it's kind of a hit or miss product. I'm gonna use it up but I'm not going to buy it again.
I gotta couple bottles free cuz my great grandmother is a tv shopaholic . I would never buy it it's too expensive. I tried it as a cleanser it was ok no better then my cheap conditioner. But it did clump my curls really well. I'm almost done with the 1st bottle but I guess sallys has a generic version called Hair One same ingredients and all so I may give that a try.
I (3c) tried it and it didn't do much for my hair. My sister in law who is Asian used it for a while but it stopped working for her. Her daughter who is biracial with long spiral curls gets excellent results from it.
Btw I'm a natural 4 a/b if that helps any
Don't waste your money but in the end it's your choice. You're better off getting a V05 or Suave almond conditioner adding a small amount of peppermint oil and you get the same cleansing as the Wen sweet almond mint cleansing conditioner. I tried a few of them in the past when I wasn't well informed about natural hair care. It was nothing amazing or earth shattering just a beautiful packaged gimmick.
I was wondering about WEN too. I just got the WEN kit for my birthday yesterday from my mom. I'm a little bit worried because I noticed that it has wheat protein in it and my hair hates protein. I plan on trying it out on Sunday night to see if my hair likes it. If it doesn't work, I'll have my mom send it back. Maybe I can get her to buy me some KCKT instead

I actually really liked the Wen Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner and the Remoist Deep Treatment.
If it wasn't for the price, I would use them all the time. I purchased them from QVC, but stopped it after I received the second shipment. I liked it much better after using it a few times.

I really like it. I NEED a 'cleansing conditioner' that I can use daily. Regular co-wash conditioners don't make my hair feel 'clean'.

I rotate Wen with Curl Junkie Daily Fix (a HOLY GRAIL), and DevaCurl NoPoo (a bit more stripping).

If I had to pick 2 cleansing condish to rotate, it'd be Wen and Curl Junkie Daily Fix.

I plan to re-up on my Wen from QVC soon. I also felt like it helped give me a growth spurt. Possibly not true-- just seemed that way to me. Cones don't freak me out at all. My hair likes em.

I tried it about 2 years ago. Made my hair shed like crazy.

You could always try the knock off stuff at Sally's if you wanted to give it a try.
