Cream stylers for WnG's

Hi Ladies,

Do any of you use cream stylers for Wash and Go's? If so, what kinds and how do you apply them?

It depends if you want some sort of hold or not.

As a cream 'styler", I like Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie applied to wet-ish hair.

Anyhoo, mixed chicks leave in doesn't really provide any hold, but it's great for soft and carefree curls. I top it off with curl enhancing smoothie for more hold ( on my ends.)
Ok, thanks. Sounds like I need to pull out the ole SM and give it another try.

I prefer cream stylers for WnGs.

Faves include:
Bee Mine Luscious Balanced Moisturizer
Jane Carter Curl Defining Cream
Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie
Jamaican Lime & Mango Transitioning Coiling Creme Pudding
My HoneyChild Type 3 Creme topped with Komaza Care Coconut Pudding

I normally use a light leave in underneath like KCKT or She Scent Coco Cream.

Blended Beauty makes some really good creamy stylers. I like the Happy Nappy Styles and the Curl Styling Butter, but they have many more.
I use Curls Creme Brule from Target. I apply it by sections.

Big Chop: 11/25/09
Cottony/fluffy, medium/coarse, high density & porosity
SL - APL - BSB - BSL - MBL - WL - HL
I like Curls for Target Creme Brulee too. Also I really like the regular Curls Milkshake. If I was an everyday WnG girl this would be my HG. Another good one for me is Ohm Sweet Hair Pudding. As creamy as it is it still has some hold to it (a soft hold). Oh and SM Restorative Masque is another fav of mines.

I scrunch the product in and shake like a mad woman.

Have you tried the shea moisture hair milk. I don't do WNGs much at all but noticed when styling my hair for me the hair milk has the curls popping more so than the smoothie.

Proud to be a PJ!

I only use cream stylers for WNGs. I like a lot of things (SM Hair Milk, SM Smoothie, Noodlehead) but my fave by far is Oyin Handmade Shine and Define! Love love love that stuff. I apply the leave-in of my choice and then scrunch in the product. No combing, shingling, or anything like that.

Maybe length has something to do it with IDK. I wish I can just simply WnG without much extra work...
