Greenandchic I have the oil as well. The smell reminds me of some cologne that my dad used a long time ago....nice! The oil is very light. I like it.
It does remind me of a cologne from way back. I couldn't put my finger on it at first. How long have you been using the oil?
I've been using it for about 6 months. I mix it with the spray tonic and some Re-grow (minoxidil) to use on my right temple and my crown. Both have begun to grow in nicely.

I need something that would help stop breakage and shedding. No matter what I do, I cant seem to stop it.

I'm using Henna, Aphogee 2 minute and moisture DTs to stop breakage/shedding. Also sealing my ends with oil nightly. (the Deity oil, Cocosta oil, Castor oil, etc) My hair is ultra fine and these things strengthen the strands so that they don't break as easily. I'm using the Deity system to fill in the gaps and help to grow in the thin areas.

I henna my hair about once every 6 weeks give or take and that has been helping. I wonder if I should do it more often. I started using ceramides for hair recently and I'm already noticing a difference. I also use Ion protein treatment as needed...

How often do you henna?

I henna every 2 weeks or so. Any longer and I can tell it in my hair. I mix other herbs with it along with silk peptide. Usually brahmi, maka, amla, kapitone(for the smell). What are ceramides for hair? I'm looking it up but if you have a preference let me know please.

From Short To Long: Ceramides

This link gives you a good idea of what ceramides is and what it does for your hair. I use mostly oil ones such as sunflower oil, hemp seed oil and kukui oil for now though I do want to get back into use Aubrey Organic conditioners once I get through my current stash.

What is sink peptide and where do you get yours?

I have a silly question but how do you make your pony puff in your pic? I want a full one without having to use a scrunchie if possible. TIA!!

This was a WnG that I used coconut oil to slick my hair back with (not my favorite oil to use solo). I think I also used aloe vera gel, but not sure which brand. I wanted the "poof" so I didn't use heavy creams, butters or gels. I held it back with a Goody Ouchless Ponytail Holder. My hair was mostly dry so I can only put it around my hair once (no twisting). HTH

Now-a-days I use a stretched out headband to secure my hair.

I used it once. Has anyone ever used it with another shampoo? Like the plant poo in the scalp and another throughout the hair? I'm asking because I have other poos that I want to use up. BUT I don't want to ruin the "mojo" by mixing.

I think I'm the only person on this site that wasn't a huge fan of this shampoo. However, I haven't used it since I started washing in sections, which changed my shampoo game totally. I can't get it on the ground here though, but can get CON.

YEa this shampoo can be pretty stripping on the hair. When I pre poo with coconut oil it kind of counteracts the dryness. I don't use coconut oil every time I wash though. Too lazy.lol

I'm gonna need to find a new DC because for some strange reason my cj rehab ain't cuttin the mustard. Maybe it's the season

The dryness can last no longer than a day, which I can handle. I moisturize everyday so I'm good on that. But the scalp issues I can't tolerate. This shampoo helps with that so I sacrafice a little
