I am glad I came across this thread. I had been toying with the idea of doing my DC on dirty hair previous to washing it. I did notice what was listed on the AOHC bottle but hadn't heard about this being done before. After reading this thread, I tried it and I am pleasantly pleased with the results. I will be doing it this way from now on. Thanks again for sharing.

I never wash hair before DT or PT. Whatever LI and styling product is in my hair from yesterday, whether I CO or WO washed yesterday, I spray water on to get hair wet and then apply my DT/PT. No prob for my hair. I know that by taking this "easier route" for me, I am sticking to weekly DT or PT. If I had to get in and out of the shower 2x for the process, I would be less motivated to do it weekly.

I've always wondered about doing it that way. Thanks. I will try it next time.

Curly Nikki mentioned recently that she does henna treatments this way now to cut down on time since having the baby, and she hasn't seen any disadvantage.

The AO conditioners actually work better for me on dry hair. Honestly it did nothing for me when my hair was wet. I found it to be odd but hey whatever works.
