quick color question
i've been cowashing and conditioning my hair in twists as much as possible to avoid tangles. i'm going to apply color for the first time since i've been doing this regularly. i'm only really applying to a few grays along the edges and a few here and there in the top.
my question is: do you think i should still have my hair in twists while i color to avoid my tangles or should i color my hair untwisted?
other factors: my hair and the color is dark brown so even if i "miss a spot" i won't have leopard hair i'll just miss a little gray. i think the edges will get the color they need no problem. not sure if i twist if the few hairs inside (probably less than 10 that i'm going after) will be evenly covered but they're pretty easy to conceal, i'm not as worried about those. i'm mostly concerned about the edges because i want to wear my hair back or up without any stray grays.
appreciate prompt responses, i'm coloring tonight. thanks!!!
