Default Detangling - Before, During and After

So I got inspired to better my wash/condition routine from watching Kimmaytube. I know some ladies don't like her, but she has provided some knowledge to help people.

I detangled my hair before washing. I added Olive oil (enriched with Omega 3, lol, I use it to cook with) to Giovanni TT Poo. Nice job in conjunction with using heat to lift the cuticle. Then I used KCKT (mixed coconut oil in it) and a new shampoo by Himalaya Herbals - the Amla and Holy Basil conditioner.

Detangled again!!! Rinse it out and my hair was soft! I couldn't believe it.

Then I applied KBN Shealoe (cause it has AVJ, shea butter, some oils and its ph 4.5) and did my last detangling with the comb.

Overall, it was good, except I ended up with a golf ball size of hair!!! I did add to it cause it self trimmed my hair.

Have any of you ladies experienced this while detangling and if so what did you do to correct it?
