Talking Curl Junkie/Donna Marie favs?

I bought 2 of the aveyou.com Groupons. I was looking to buy curl junkie or donna marie (or both?), just trying to figure out what to order. What are your favorite products from those two lines? Thanks!

I like the smoothing lotion from curl junkie. It has a lot of slip and it smells like vanilla, along the lines of kinky curly. I haven't had much luck with Donna Marie. I could only recommend the super butter creme. It smells like cupcakes/buttercreme frosting. I like sweet smells, lol.

Though I haven't yet used many Curl Junkie products and none of Donna Marie as of now, I have to agree on the Smoothing Lotion. It's my favorite for WnG or any "out" styles.

I like all of the CJ products that I have tried, especially the Smoothing Lotion, Curl Queen, Argan Oil and Olive conditioner and Curl Rehab.

I also love every single CJ product I have tried, namely the Deep Fix, Curl Rehab (I have used this as both a DC and a leave-in. I once baggied with it but my hair felt over-moisturised, something I never thought was possible), CIAB, Repair Me.

I have the Smoothing Lotion and the Curl Queen, but haven't tried them yet.

Thanks ladies! This is going to be a hard decision. Sounds like the smoothing lotion is a must try. Would love some more input!

Thank you! Her hair was actually in a twist out for a couple of days, I sprayed her hair with some water until it was slightly damp then added some product. It stretches the curls out without as many tangles as she would normally get from a wash n go.

I love the CJ Smoothing Lotion, Daily Fix, Curls in a Bottle (as a finisher), and Argan and Olive Oil Conditioner (I don't know too many people that like this one besides me though).

I also really love the DM Dream Curling Creme, Cocoa Hemp Buttermilk, and Super Buttercreme (as long as it doesn't seperate). I haven't tried any thing else from this line though.

Yes, the smoothing lotion is amazing, so is deep fix. Rehab sadly was not my friend, and repair me! is not my wallets friend lol. Have not tried anything from DM yet...still a bit iffy with her line.

Ok, so I tried this method last night before I went out, and it worked so well! Thank you so much! AND I tried it out with Curl Queen, and all I can say is you can add that to the list of CJ products that I love!

Man, it's like you read my mind except the Rehab part because I haven't tried that yet. Love DF and the SL and I said the same thing about RM! Donna Marie, not sure what I would try if anything.

Omg, your daughter and her hair are GORG!

Great style technique, wondering if it'll work on a flat twist-out...

Thanks ladies!!

@montREALady, I think it will work just fine on a flat twist out.

By the way, I ordered 6 of the curl junkie products. Smoothing lotion, curl queen, curls in a bottle, deep fix, curl rehab, and Curl Junkie Hibiscus & Banana Honey Butta. Thanks for your suggestions!
