B.A.S.K's Sevenfold Whipped Butter is very similiar to Purabody Naturals Cupuacu butter...just more whipped. They do the exact same thing for me.

So, just finished emailing Rashida a big thank you! She's such a sweetheart!
Anyway, I found out that on top of the Sweet Treat Sampler, there will be another sampler launching the same day called the Honey Hair Spa! It's apparently going to retail for $22.00 and includes the following products:
"4oz Y.A.M. Nectar, 2oz Nectarine Vanilla Silk & Honey Latte, & 1oz Java Bean & Honey...bundled
together in a golden organza bag"

I really like these products (cacao & yam). I am sooo going to be purchasing other products during their next sale!
I reviewed their products HERE and she sooo graciously offered a GIVEAWAY of 2 full-sized yam & cacao! The giveaway ends Jan 30.

So I've been sleeping on the sevenfold butter. I kind of turned my nose up at it because it was just another whipped butter, but that stuff has my hair shining like a brand new penny!
I am really both fascinated and impressed with all the textures of her products. Everything "melts" in your hair. The hair latte is the same way, just goes on and you don't have to keep smoothing in to get rid of the white.
I think I am going to repurchase the DC now as well, only because I realized that I had a sampler and it lasted me like through 3-4 washes. A little of her stuff goes a long way, and though some of the products may not do anything above and beyond for me, I appreciate being able to stretch a dollar because I only need to use a dollop.

Are you normally low/norm/high porosity?

"Shining like a brand new penny"..This! Perfect description of the shine that I get from both the Sevenfold butter & the Palm Tapioca Cream. Other butters make my hair feel moisturized & seal well but I have never gotten any more than sheen. I like!!

I expect those kind of prices, simply because it's a small business using natural products. Takes more time and money to really build up. Which is why I'll be quicker to support if you offer samples for high-priced products. I'd like to at least try it out before coughing up money.

I believe I am on the lower end. Most things kind of sit on my hair ( I have fine strands as well). I know that low porosity hair is suppose to appear more shinier, but when I use shea butter it often looks very dull. All of her products seem to blend in my hair though...

They are kind of on the steep end, but like I said, I am able to use a lot less than I do with other products. I brought the sampler set during Black Friday and still have a good amount from all of them... and I used them often.

The Palm Tapioca Cream is definitely the ish for twists (I mean moisture and crazy shine) and you only need a little. I'm still using the sample size i got in November on my dd's twists and haven't touched the full size jar I ordered during the Jan. 1st sale. I'm sure the full size will last us for most of the year at this rate or at least through the summer. So when you look at it like that, it's money well spent.

You're not the only one. My hair goes through products like crazy due to the porosity, plus I have to wash my hair probably more than the average natural. I will try a couple of her products in a few weeks just to see. I know quality materials are pricey and small business have a lot of overhead, but $20 is $20.

I dont see a sampler pack for sale.. Not on her Etsy or webpage. The stuff does look good. I keep eyeing the palm tapioca stuff and the cacao deep condish. One day I might bite. Or it may end up on my list of stuff that I really dont need lol. If i see a sampler or a sale I will prolly go there...

Check her website or Etsy page later today or tomorrow. I believe a few posts up it says she will be putting them up sometime this week.

I agree about the prices, but I think the leave in ($14) and body care products ($14 for 12oz) are fairly reasonable. My hair is not super duper into butters anyway so I probably won't try those. The DCs are expensive, but I spend the same on Curl Rehab - I'd like her to make bigger sizes at a discounted price though. That'd be cool.
