Bask Product Line

I did a comparison of my results when using Qhemets and compared it to my twist out when using BASK.

Know, Qhemets has been my HOLY GRAIL when it comes to styling my hair, but the results from using BASK products are almost uncanny!

So far Im not feeling this Silk Hair Latte at ALL. It's very light, and doesn't moisturize my hair when dry or wet. It's not very impressive detangling wise either. The smell reminds me of a starburst (vanilla nectarine) and took time getting used to, because it smells a little candy/artificial to me. When it wears off I do like the scent, but initially....no.

Also I think it may be flaking a little? I don't know. My hair is overly porous so I prefer heavier leave ins as far as moisture and detangling is concerned. This would prob. make for a great body lotion though. I will try again and if anyone can provide tips on application that would be great. Because I really do want this to work

That could make it feel dry and hard. Brown Butter Beauty stopped working for me and I PH'd my bottle and it was 6.5. I added Aloe vera juice and got it down to 5.0. Works perfectly now. PH strips are available at lotioncrafters.

I did try this product on my little sister's hair which is thick with low porosity, and it was a fail on dry hair, and merely slightly softened her hair when wet (and I had to use a lot of product). I did a side by side comparison to her twist with the silk hair latte and with curl junkies coco coffee curl cream and the curl junkie blew bask out of the water. I think the bask latte is highly overrated. I can't imagine this being anyone's HG leave -in. This product may be best for people with FINE low to normal porosity hair types.
I love silk and honey latte! When I first tried this product it was when my hair was straight and it was so soft!!! I don't know, it still works great on my natural hair too but I've noticed it gets mixed reviews!!!
