sadly, these products don't work for my hair. when i first used the product, i was over the moon happy. i used only bask products on freshly shampoo'd hair. my hair felt exquisite as i was applying the product and twisting. the next morning, my hair felt dry, dry, dry. i had to put qhemet's on top to help me.
i used the cacao bark as a leave in. applied palm tapioca on each section as i twisted and java balm on my ends. the java bean scent really lingers too. seems like i smelled it all night.

All this YAM talk is making me think of one of my favorite Martin episodes where he was talking to Varnell Hill (Tommy Davidson) and he was like "how can I get to the YAAAAMMMS?!"
Martin Payne has Varnell Hill on his show - YouTube

lol Anyway, I wanna try those scrubs and I like the java bean pomade so I'mma get me some so I can ask for a sample of this YAM conditioner.

Is it bad that I actually feel sadness reading through this thread knowing that they DON'T DO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING??

Got this in the mail today....
b.a.sk. Silk and Honey Latte
Detangling Hair Milk
It's a 2 ounce sampler, in the "Southern Tea" fragrance. My hair is in braids for a braidout tomorrow (I haven't been feeling like 2-strand twisting my hair), so I'll try it as a moisturizer for my braidout.
It smells like tea with lemon, and...soap - it's a clean, fresh scent and it's not too sweet.
It's a thick lotion consistency...not runny. I'll report back later on the performance!

I can't wait to try this hair milk. I'm currently testing out her sample pack so I can decide which products to repurchase in addition to picking up the hair milk and the YAM nectar next month.

I just want to add that Rashida's customer service is on point. When I had I problem with my post office not delivering my package, although the tracking system stated that my it was delivered, Rashida was EXTREMELY understanding and accommodating. She helped locate the package and I got it the next day. GO RASHIDA and BASK Beauty!!!

b.a.sk. Silk and Honey Latte
Detangling Hair Milk
This is a preliminary review: I'm wearing a fresh braidout, pulled back in a bun, because it's a bit too chilly for me to be wearing it all out.
I used the milk as a moisturizing lotion, to keep my hair supple and conditioned.
In one word? AMAZING!
Let me tell you why...
- Most of the time when I use a water-based lotion moisturizer, I prefer to use some type of sealer to lock in the softness. With this, I didn't have to use anything with it.
- It makes my hair feel "silky" soft, which is a bit different from just "soft", and it does it...instantly. No crunchy ends.
- I was able to work it in my hair quickly, and without much effort.
I love the scent, and I'm ordering a full size bottle of the "Southern Tea", and the "Nectarine Vanilla", when it goes on sale.
This, along with the Y.A.M are probably my two most favorite products in the line...although I'm fond of everything.

Rashida and I have been emailing each other back and forth.
I got jacked up in a car accident and we stopped talking products and she sent me tons of well wishes!!! She really is nice.
My hair is straight so I can't use all of the hair products now but DAMNED if I'm not taking my jar of sugar sorbet, the banana one to my bath right now to use. I let SO smell it...yall I think he's going to try and jack my sugar sorbet!
I'll buy him his own jar later lol
