Default Gibson Tuck

Has anyone tried this style? I'm really really liking it now that my hair is getting longer. If you tried it, what did you do with the front of your hair?

I've worn this, but it's been ages since I've done it.

This pic is pretty old, but here's how it looks on me.

The front of my hair is in the tuck.

I might have to revisit this one.

It's one of those updos that I think looks better on curly hair than straight hair.

I'm finally inspired to try something different with my hair for work tomorrow. If it comes out ok, I may take a picture of it.

I do this all the time with my twists. Didn't realise it had a name. Lol. I just pull the front in to the original ponytail, or sometimes I make a little hump and pin it.

Very pretty! I'm going to a tea room today, so this style will be perfect!

I do a version of this style all of the time with my twists. I usually pull the whole ponytail through though leaving the ends loose or I tuck the ends separately.

Yep, and I'm doing it again today. It doesn't look good on me though, although I've gotten compliments. I banded my hair last night to straighten it some. Maybe that will help. Will update later.

I do that style all the time when it's hot out. It looks prettier than a bun, on me. I just side part the front and don't pull the ponytail too tightly so I still have some volume up top.

I tried the style that LML posted. The flat twist was much easier than trying to do a similar style with a French braid!

I didn't feel like twisting the ends, so I rolled the ponytail part up into a tuck. The whole look is like a Gibson tuck with nice twisted sides.

I did this on third day hair in its natural textures with no stylers. My pomade is melted, lol.

Crappy cell quality pics. I like it better IRL.
