Default To protein treat or not to protein treat...

Hey Folks!

I've been experiencing some frizzy hair with my twist outs this summer and I usually don't. While looking online for an answer and a solution I've come up with 1 word all the time. PROTEIN.

This would be fine if my hair didn't equate protein to being evil. Protein drys out my hair and makes it feel really hard and brittle. Besides henna treatments I stay away from protein, but I can't help but admit that it does have all of the solutions to my frizz problem.

I would like to know if I can use protein once and it be enough or do I stay away from it at all costs. I would love an answer from anyone with protein sensitive hair. Thanks.

i dont have protein sensitive hair but if youve tried a moisturizing deep treatment and it didnt help then your hair might need it and if it causes dryness follow it up with a moisturizing treatment...since protein can do wonders sometimes
