Default Natural hair salons in Dallas, TX

I am a newbie to this site, and have recently relocated to Dallas, TX. I have been natural for about a year and my hair type is 4b. I mostly wear braids, but I want to start experimenting with other natural styles. I would like to know if anyone can recommend a good, natural hair salon in the North Dallas area.( Garland, Richardson, Plano, Rowlett) I would also like to find a good braiding salon.

Thank you

Default Natural hair salons in Dallas, TX

Yes, Gretchen, I did check the salon review listings. I found a salon and am very happy with both, my experience, and the results.

Thank you

That's great to hear! If you could add a review it will help other curlies, too!

hi natgurl41! I'm new to Dallas as well and new to going natural. I was trying to find a salon on the salonfinder but I couldn't tell from a lot of the reviews, if any of the women had my same hair type. After doing some research, I think I'm one of 4's as well (not sure which one, because I seem to have a lot of textures going on at once). Do you mind sharing which salon you decided to go to? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

When looking for a natural hair salon keep in mind that it doesn't matter the texture of your hair. For example, I have 4a/3c hair and I allowed someone with a totally diff texture from mind to give me a diva cut. I can say my hair looks great.

Can you share your salon info that you found?
