fizzy, dry, 4b hair

Hey everyone ^^

I transitioned from relaxed to natural for a year and I BC about a month ago. I remember when my friend was cutting my hair she told me the front of my hair (4b) was very frizzy and dry and it looked like heat damage. Then we thought maybe that's just the way it is.

I def don't think so because even when my hair is wet the ends feel really dry. The front of my hair also barely has a curl pattern. It almost look straight. (but still natural looking)

Should I just a get a trim because i think i really need one since I ask my friend to do my BC not a professional.

and how do i get my curl back?

It's hard to tell what the issue is without examining your hair.

Have you been deep conditioning your hair regularly?
I think you know your hair and get a trim if you think you need it. But it may be the case where the 4b hair is just going to act frizzy. Initially I was trimming my hair a lot because my ends were fuzzy/frizzy. I did not have split ends and I had to realize my ends are just that way.
