I've had sucess with:
Komaza Shea Butter Lotion
Komaza Califia Moisturizing Cream
Oyin Hair Dew
Qhemet Burdock Root Buttercream ans Amla Olive Heavy Cream
Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade works great in combination with the above products too(I haven't used it with Qhemet)

I'll use Burdock Root around the 3rd day when my hair is starting to feel dry as a refresher and I don't have to re-moisturize again. That will last up until wash day (7th-10th day). That stuff is no joke.

I'm still not straight on what a pre poo is. Do you use oils only? And if so do they need to be heated first? Can creams be used and how would that be different than a deep conditioning?

Only thing that has ever left my coarse (thick strand diameter), dense, super duper tightly coily hair soft and fluffy. If anyone is having moisture issues, I suggest at least trying S-Curl; it's only like $4 a bottle. I regret having bought all the expensive "natural" products and being left with crispity, crunchety straw hair for nearly 6 years when this little bottle of water and humectants would've solved all my troubles. Oh well, you live and you learn!

Hair Type: Mystery, but if I had to say, incredibly dense, gravity-defying defined coffee-stirrer diameter coils all over. Wash and go's are not my friend.
