I can't get the protective styling down (my front it so thin and nothing looks right) so I'm goin to keep it tied up as much as possible this winter.

Yep, but I can barely braid/twist, sad I know. French braiding/flat twists are on my bucket list.
In the mean time I'm goin to get flat twists to get me started on protective styling.
