In love with WEN!!!

I recently bought Wen cleansing conditioner. I've been looking at it for a while but the price was always a turn off. So finally I splurged and I bought it.

So I've used it twice now and I am in love! My hair feels sooo soft and my curls are crazy defined! I will never go back to normal shampoo and conditioner.

Really? i was doing some research on wen and yeahthe price was a turn off but the infomercial deal seems like a good one... but when i went on the boards I saw different curlies on both sides of the "wen" fence... im def intrigued as to your results with continued use...are ur curls more defined out the shower or with product?

watch out for build up...I used it and after about 7 washes I got REALLY bad build up and had to go back to a sulfate shampoo...It was nice at first but then it turned on me

maybe it was from the silicone's or the methol

I've actually stopped using products in my hair since using Wen. I just use a few pumps as a leave in and a quarter size amount of their styling cream which comes with it.

I've actually been using the CG method on my hair for a while and no build up so, so far the Wen actually leaves my hair and scalp feeling cleaner. I do go to the salon to have my hair straightened every few weeks or once a month so they use sulfate shampoo then.

I was watching the infomercial tonight and the fear of buildup is definitely stopping me from ordering. I get buildup really easily which is why I gave up silicones.. I have to use a shampoo that can get all the product out of my hair each week. If Wen is my shampoo and my conditioner when is my hair actually getting clean?

My mother saw the Wen commercial and said she saw someone who "looked like me" :eye roll: so she bought a couple of things and sent it over.

I haven't tried it yet (planning to tomorrow), but I got the cleansing conditioner (pomegranate) and something about re moist, texture balm, and styling creme. So we'll see.

I love Wen. It will always be in my rotation but it will never be my sole cleanser. I rotate it with Curl Junkie Daily Fix, as well as other shampoos and I do clarify whenever I henna. I get the best deals on QVC.

I went on a QVC spree last year, and got the fig, tea tree, and original--I think it's sweet mint, or something like that.

I used the fig and tea tree for a while--looked out for spectacular results--and they never came. I prefer Aussie Moist condish for a co-wash/LI. Wen didn't do anything special. I don't think it's worth the investment, but that is my opinion shaped by my experience.

I say, try it, let the PJ itch be scratched, and then see what you think.
