I worked from home today... so mad because my poo bars are at work but on a happy note my bestie picked it up for me so I can add them to my collection on sunday when I see her to do her hair

I know that wench bet' not dig in my stash though. I keep telling her stick to the Deity poo , shes not ready for these poo bars.

I seriously might have to hurt her if my box is a little lighter than it should be

Tried the Cheris Hibiscus bar the other day - loved it! So far my table goes:
1st - Honey Shea - PERFECT cleaning and moisture balance
2nd - Cheris Hibiscus - Excellent cleaning, highly moisturising
3rd - Honey Oatmeal - very highly moisturising, very good cleaning, like a cowash for me

To try - Honey Hemp Green Tea

They all lather up brilliantly (I actually don't understand how they lather so well!), smell light and pleasant, do not cause tangles and seem like they will last VERY long. Mmmm! I'm still a product junkie and get overly excited if on a new Fotki or blog and see that there's a products album/reviews (), but now my eyes gloss over the shampoos. I don't need them. I am content.

co-wash - NaturelleGrow Coconut Water or Marshmallow Root, Slippery Elm Bark & Blue Malva Cleansing Conditioners
LI - KCKT mixed w/ SM C & H Curl & Style Milk

Naturalista! How is the Honey Hemp Green Tea bar working on your face? I've been waiting for it to restock and ever since you said it was great on your face I've forgot about using it on my hair.

Okay - I got a lot of requests for Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales - and I have some good news - not-so good news, and in-between news - lol you can tell I have teenagers in my house

First, the not so good news - for all those Cheris, and Shealoe fans - I am still waiting on ingredients I ordered two weeks ago So you will not see them on the site until another couple of weeks or so.

The in-between news - I had to scrape up goodies to put in the shop so there are very few of them - so it's going to be a 'first come/first serve' type of sale.

Now for the good news - Although I had to scrape up some goodies - I have some good stuff to put on sale

As a way to give everyone a chance to catch some of the sale items - (as a heads up for my NC ladies -I will put a few items up on Thursday between 11pm and 12am) for Black Friday and I will put the rest up on Monday morning for Cyber Monday )

And as an added bonus all items will be 15% off on both days as well. Use the code FVTNSALE.

Thank you all again for your continued support

Why oh why did I have to take a peek at this thread?!?

Okay, I was about to place an order for more Terressentials, Lavender this time, but now I'm tempted to try some of these Bobeam bars. The mudwash is so messy and right now the Lemon is causing my itchy scalp; I think.

Ugh!

Although I'm trying to walk away and all, uhm, which bars are the most moisturizing without stripping?

Just wondering.....
(Current Rotation) Shampoo: Trader Joe's TTT, Terressentials, Elucence, Curl Junkie Daily Fix Conditioner: Tresemme Naturals, Curl Junkie Curl Rehab Leave-in/Moisturizer: Qhemet's BRBC Gel: Tresemme Oils: Grapeseed, jojoba, evoo, sweet almond, castor....BIG CHOPPED AGAIN!

I was just wondering if others concurred with Jo's opinions or had anything else to share.

Looks like I may have to wait until Laquita's ingredients arrive anyway to order.
So I read this article on CurlyNikki's website on shampoo bars; interesting, but kinda one-sided. There was no mention of Bobeam, which I would have liked the comparison, but wow was this author pretty harsh on Oyin and Karen's Body Beautiful bars.

Does anyone agree with the need to ACV rinse to pH balance their hair and scalp after using Bobeam bars?

I use ACV after mine. These shampoo bars don't leave my hair as waxy and tangly as all the other bars I've used but there is some residue that the ACV knocks off. My water is kinda of mineral-y.

Nope! I don't do nuffin' except my normal dc. I have pretty low porosity anyway, so I don't need to close my cuticles after washing.

Just read the article and I haven't experienced any adverse effects from shampoo bars, except when I first started using them (I started with Chagrin Valley) I still had short hair and thought I didn't need to wash in sections, and my, my, my, the KNOTS! Also, I think somewhere on the CV site they say the poo bars are so gentle they don't hurt your eyes - do you not hear me crying in the shower??? Anyway, ZERO adverse effects from Bobeam, partly from me learning, but probably because the products are just that awesome.
