Thank you! When I first cut off all that damage, I felt like my hair would never grow back.... So happy I learned how to deal with my hair with out straightening the life out of it with pressing combs and heat!

Default Thanks ladies

I was so startled this morning when i accidentally opened up my 2010 calendar and saw that I had gotten it cut on this date a year ago.
Fun to see the progress!

Congrats!!!
I was just talking to a friend whose hair is a mess from flat ironing every day. I told her we women can't keep abusing our hair with heat, chemicals and unhealthy care practices then get upset with our hair because it isn't healthy and doesn't look good. When I started being good to my hair, my hair started being good to me.

so true. I think there is a misconception that if you aren't chemically straightening your hair but instead are using heat styling that you are somehow not damaging it. I had 12 inches of severely damaged hair that would no longer curl, just frizzed. It was crispy, I'd "heat trained" the life out of it.
After a year of wearing my hair in a ponytail to hide the damage, I finally just cut it all off. Best decision I've made for my hair. I haven't had curls this healthy looking since I was 6 years old.
