Question nervous even thinking about it pics posted

so i colored my hair permanently 3 times since april. my hair had some damage ,straight ends that i already cut off, but my colored hair is somewhat thinner (just a little) and frizzier than my new growth. I just began thinking about this but im thinking about doing a BC. if i do it my hair is gonna be short short. the problem is i dunno if its gonna look rite on me. wat do you all think? pics are of my bun and after i cut off 'stringy ends'.

I think short hair can look good on anybody. It's all about how you feel. If you don't think you are ready for a BC then just cut a little bit off at a time until all the damage is gone.

In addition to what Foxy said, keep doing conditioner treatments.

Im not saying you do, but dont feel pressured to BC so soon. Its your hair, at the end of the day you have to live with it. Not us.

If you wear a ponytail with your hair pulled back and off your face you can wear short hair.

Great advice from everyone. Either waiting or drastic cut all at one time are both perfectly fine.

Back in my punk rock days I used to cut my hair super-short every once in a while and I recall it was an excellent excuse to wear a bunch of really cool, dramatic earrings. Very feminine! The best thing about it - and I miss this now - is that it made my whole hair routine 10 times easier and it left me plenty of time to fuss over a fun wardrobe

If you end up doing it, please post pics

You and me are in the same boat (though my hair appears to be much longer then yours).

I'm probably gonna cut it much shorter (I like having it short anyway, it's easier, I use less product, more volume, just gotta find the right awesome cut) so that it grows out quicker, but that is not saying you should do the same.

I think that short hair would look good on you - but it is ultimately your decision. Your hair is short enough now (from what I can see on the pics anyway) that the grow out shouldn't be too bad, either, should you decide to not cut it.

We seem to have a similar shaped face. Here are some of my pics after my BC, 6 months ago to now.

As someone who did the BC a year ago, I say go for it! Hair grows, and if you care for it properly it grows back healthier than ever before. I had a buzz cut last October and now my hair reaches my earlobes. It's healthy and shiny and my curls are back!
