Wow I can't believe its been almost 6 months. I don't know if I'll make my goal by the end of the year but my hair has been growing well. Just wanted to check in. I may post my latest twist out a few days before the 30th.
Everything in moderation?

I suppose there has been some new length...I did a relaxer earlier this month and I followed up with a cellophane treatment. I did have to have a half an inch trimmed. My final goal is "pocket length" but I hope i reach my old goal of hip length by my birthday in September.
For me this wasn't a proper challenge as I'm not doing anything specifically to improve growth. I joined to remember to take photos of my hair changes. So I'm still doing it! But there's a month to go before the next progress report.
My hair is in the 4s, low in porosity, high in density and coarse.
Love: QB - all of it, Bobeam - shampoo bars, Darcy's Botanicals - Pumpkin Seed Conditioner, Coconut Cupuacu Pomade, KBN - Shealoe Leave-in, Oyin - Juices & Berries, Kinky Curly - Knot Today, Ayurvedic treatments, my Denman and the cloud of kinky goodness on my head that I get to play with!
So as of December 10th last year I was 7-8 inches allover. Now it's 8 inches in the back. 11.5 - 12 inches everywhere else. The first image is from Dec 2011. The second is from April 2012. I can't get a good photo of this raggedy twistout to save my life but the third one is from today and you can see there's some length there. I'm not bsl yet. but I'm making progress. Now I need to get it trimmed.
