Question about daily fix?

I'm considering co-washing for the winter. I was wondering if daily fix alone will be ok to use as a co-wash or do I need a shampoo? Also is this sufficient itself as a cleanser on a weekly basis? (I only wash once or twice a week after a heavy workout). Would I still need to with a non-sulfate shampoo for clarifying/cleansing?

Yes its sufficient to use alone. I use it as my cleanser then follow it with a condish.

After u apply it to your hair be sure to run water over it to 'activate' it and massage it through. I still use regular shampoo when I feel the need.

I rotate my use of DF with Wen

I think it is a good enough cleanser to use every time you wash. If anything I shampoo because my hair is too soft, not because of build up.

I'm with AllieCat0817 and afrosheenqueen. When I first used the Daily Fix I tried to use it like regular shampoo and did'nt really like it, but the next time I used the water to activate it and it worked alot better. I use it almost everytime I detangle my hair, and use a slightly stronger cleanser maybe once a month because I use a lot of butters and oils on my hair.

Forgive me for hijacking, but I have another question about Daily Fix:

Do any of you prepoo when using it, or is it overkill?

To the OP: Yes, the Daily Fix is fine is sufficient as a cleanser. No pooing is necessary.

To Greenandchic:Yes, pre-pooing with DF is overkill. It's very moisturizing on its own.
